Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Extinct Witch Walking was a huge disappointment for me. The characters felt one-dimensional and lacked any depth or development throughout the story. Overall, I found this book to be a complete waste of time and would not recommend it to anyone.

I had high hopes for Extinct Witch Walking, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The story started off promising, but it quickly became tedious and repetitive. The protagonist was unrelatable and made questionable decisions that didn't make sense within the context of the plot. The pacing was also inconsistent, with long stretches of slow-moving scenes followed by rushed and confusing action sequences. Overall, I found the book to be underwhelming and would not recommend it to others.
