Magic Knight Rayearth PVA is a popular anime and manga series created by Clamp. It tells the story of three ordinary junior high school girls who are transported to the magical world of Cephiro. In this world, they become the legendary Magic Knights destined to save Cephiro from an evil force threatening its existence. The PVA in the title stands for "Provisional Voice Actress." In 1994, an OVA (original video animation) of Magic Knight Rayearth was released. This OVA featured the original cast of voice actors who later went on to voice the characters in the TV anime series.

This OVA featured the original cast of voice actors who later went on to voice the characters in the TV anime series. However, due to some circumstances, the original voice actors were not available to voice the characters for the PVA.
