Magical Forest and Halloveen at Opportunity Village Opportunity Village is a nonprofit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada, that provides vocational training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Every year, the organization organizes two major events that have become an integral part of the city's Halloween celebrations - the Magical Forest and Halloveen. The Magical Forest is a winter wonderland that transforms the Village's campus into a dazzling display of lights, decorations, and holiday spirit. It features millions of sparkling lights, festive displays, and amusement rides for all ages. Opportunity Village HalloVeen Volunteer Event at Magical Forest
It’s all about giving, so come give your time with us. Every year Opportunity Village hosts a HalloVeen event, which offers Halloween themed rides, food and fun, for the benefit of our Las Vegas community with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Help us stand strong as the CPCU Society and give back to this important part of our community.

The gory details:
- Our CPCU Society group members will need to sign in at the check in area on a sheet with our group name on it.
- MINORS MUST BRING the minor form for check in
- Festive attire is welcome. Close-toed shoes are required. Tops need to have sleeves t-shirt length or longer, and bottoms be at least knee-length. Please dress for the weather - wear layers!
- You are welcome to purchase food at our vendors and will receive the employee discount with your volunteer badge (given upon check in).
- If your group would like a discount code to purchase tickets AFTER your service date to get the employee discount use code HV23VOL.
Age Requirement: Must be 14+ to volunteer independently.
Location: This event is located at 6300 W Oakey Blvd. Enter through green Magical Forest arches and follow volunteer check-in signs to register.
Parking: There is a shared parking lot with CSN which you can enter off of Torrey Pines. Look for signage for volunteer entry - if you see big green Magical Forest gates you are in the right place!

There are also various games and activities for children, including face painting, cookie decorating, and a train ride around the Village. One of the highlights of the Magical Forest is Santa's Cottage, where children can meet Santa Claus himself. They can share their holiday wishes and take memorable photos with the jolly old man. Following the success of the Magical Forest, Opportunity Village introduced Halloveen, a Halloween-themed event, to its calendar. During Halloveen, the Village is transformed into a haunted forest, populated with creepy creatures, spooky lights, and eerie sound effects. Visitors can enjoy haunted house attractions, scares zones, and thrilling rides. The event also includes interactive activities, such as pumpkin carving contests, costume contests, and trick-or-treating. Like the Magical Forest, Halloveen also offers live entertainment, with performances by local performers and musicians.
