This daily tip can be paid in two different ways.
Tips can be added at the time of booking or at any time up to the departure date. Guests who book directly with Carnival can add a prepaid tip at Carnival.com. Guests who have booked through a travel agency can contact their travel agency to add a prepaid gratuity to their booking. Prepaid gratuities will be reflected in the "Other Charges" field on booking confirmations and guest electronic documents.
If the guest has not prepaid a tip, the recommended amount per person will be transferred to the Sail & Sign account on the penultimate day of the cruise. If a guest is unsatisfied with the service they receive, please contact the Guest Services Desk on board. This allows us to respond to your concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. At the guest's discretion, the tip may be adjusted after being credited to the guest's account on board. Any gratuity posted to a guest's Sail & Sign account will be final upon guest disembarkation and will not be changed after the cruise.

The characters were not well developed and lacked depth, making it difficult to feel any kind of connection or investment in their journey. Additionally, the writing style was clumsy and lacked finesse. Overall, I found the book to be a tedious read and struggled to finish it.
2. Sarah - 1 star - I cannot express how much I disliked "A far wilder magix". The premise seemed interesting, but the execution was terrible. The pacing was all over the place, with slow and dragging sections alternating with rushed and confusing ones. The dialogue felt forced and unnatural, making it difficult to believe or care about the characters. The book also suffered from poor editing, with numerous grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. I was extremely disappointed with this book and would not recommend it to anyone.
