The story was predictable and the characters were one-dimensional. I couldn't get invested in the adventures of Alexander and his mouse because the plot felt forced and uninspired. Overall, I was disappointed with this book and wouldn't recommend it.

The characters were underdeveloped and their motivations were unclear. I found myself getting bored halfway through the book and just couldn't bring myself to finish it. There are much better children's books out there, so I would suggest skipping this one.
