Exploring the different finishes of the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion

By admin

April Skin Magic Snow Cushion is a popular Korean beauty product that has gained a reputation for its high coverage and long-lasting formula. This cushion foundation is known for its ability to create a flawless and natural-looking complexion. The April Skin Magic Snow Cushion is designed to provide full coverage with a lightweight and non-greasy feel. It effectively conceals imperfections, blemishes, and redness, leaving the skin looking smooth, even-toned, and radiant. One of the key features of this cushion foundation is its long-lasting formula. It has a high staying power and can withstand sweat and oil, making it ideal for those with oily or combination skin types.

Now I’m not sure to who I should recommend this. It would be absolutely perfect for normal skin types. Oily skin types can make this work as well, just blot the sebum. For dry skin types, I’d recommend using a good moisturizer because of the patches or just buy the white version, it’s way more moisturizing. So I guess everyone can use this if you have the right attitude to it. Either way I say try it. This coverage is quite rare for cushions.

Everyone was talking about their Magic Snow Cushions, both in white and black, but I wasn t sure if I really wanted to try it, hence I didn t get it. Here is my review on the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion White. I have been reviewing a ton of cushions lately and to be completely honest, the truth is that I just love cushions! I think cushions are one of the greatest inventions in the realm of skincare and makeup. They not only provide makeup coverage but they can offer so much benefits in terms of skin care. The April Skin cushion is no different as this cushion has some pretty stellar ingredients. For reference, I am reviewing the #21 Light Beige and the "White" version which is for a drier skin type.

As you can see, this cushion is a round, white compact with a mirror and includes a ruby cell puff applicator. The puff itself is white on top with a canvas color bottom. It is slightly "puffier" than the ones from Innisfree or Iope. It just seems a little bit thicker and more bouncy.

Ingredients:

This cushion is made with 60% "Iceland Glacial" mineral water, niacinamide, honey and propolis Extract. This also contains Jeju aloe vera leaf, phyllanthus embolic fruit and blueberry extracts. This does have a soft "clean, fresh linen" scent that dissipates completely after application.

Claims an Results:
This cushion quickly became famous in Korea for a reason. This claims to offer outstanding coverage, be long-lasting and moisturize. I completely agree with the claims as it does all of the above. I cannot deny that this cushion looks stunning on as well.

The picture above shows that this gives very nice, even coverage that looks natural. This brighten my complexion and hides imperfections. This also hydrates and on my normal to combination skin, it is a little too hydrating. This would definitely be perfect for the colder, winter months but not for the summer time.

Here is me with two "layers" applied. I am not wearing anything else in this picture except for the Secret Keys lip tint which I am in love with. No concealer, no eye brows (yikes) just me and my beloved red lip tint.

Overall:

I love how this makes my skin look and feel! It has a gorgeous finish, brightens, evens skin tone, hydrates, protects. you can't ask for more. Two layers is definitely more coverage than I would normally wear as I often go without makeup at all! This does transfer if you apply too much as I noticed this was slightly rubbing off on my hoodie. Again, this is the version for dry skin but they do have a "black" version that is better for oily or combination skin types. Overall, I would repurchase as this has quickly become one of my favorite cushion foundations.

Reviews for "How to achieve a flawless base using the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion"

1. Samantha - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion. The coverage was extremely sheer and did not provide enough coverage to hide my acne scars and blemishes. Additionally, it made my skin appear greasy and oily throughout the day, even though I have normal to dry skin. I also found that it settled into my fine lines and emphasized them, making me look older. Overall, I would not recommend this cushion to anyone looking for decent coverage and a matte finish.
2. Rebecca - 1/5 - The April Skin Magic Snow Cushion did not live up to its claims for me. First of all, the shade range is extremely limited, and the shade I got was too light for my skin tone, even though I usually wear a medium shade. The formula felt heavy and cakey on my skin, and it oxidized throughout the day, making me look orange. It also emphasized the dry patches on my skin and clung to any dry skin I had. Overall, I was highly disappointed with this product and would not repurchase it.
3. Amy - 2/5 - I had really high hopes for the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion, but unfortunately, it did not work for my oily skin. Despite claims of long-lasting wear, this cushion started to break down and melt off my face within a couple of hours of wear. It also accentuated my large pores and did not provide enough coverage to hide my redness and acne. The cushion itself dried out within a few weeks of use, which was another disappointment. Overall, I would not recommend this cushion to those with oily skin or anyone looking for long-lasting coverage.
