Governor Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix, also known as Emperor Jircniv, is a character from the light novel series Overlord. He is the ruler of the Baharuth Empire and plays a significant role in the story. Jircniv is portrayed as a highly ambitious and intelligent individual. He is constantly looking for ways to strengthen his empire and increase his own power. He is also known for his pragmatism, as he is willing to make alliances and form partnerships with other nations if it benefits his own interests. However, Jircniv's rule is not without its challenges. He faces opposition from various factions within his own empire, some of whom are unhappy with his decision to form alliances with non-human races. This internal strife puts a strain on his leadership and requires him to navigate complex political situations.
Enchanting sound talisman
I was inspired by this post on how to make a permanent talisman out of an object, using methods that use little to no personal energy! I like to call this “passive magick”, magick that works with less input or maintenance than conventional spells.
An object talisman (unlike a container talisman, like in the other post) is carried to attract energy or an intent, meaning you can make lots that each hold a different intention - swapping them out as you need them.
1. Select or make the object to become a talisman. It can be anything, related or not to your intentions. Good choices are wearables (such as rings, scarves or other accessories) or charms that can fit in a pocket. Remember to cleanse it!
2. Place the talisman in the center of three candles. The energy of each candle is centered into the talisman, representing earth, sea, sky / mind, body, spirit / mother, maiden, crone - whatever floats your boat!
3. Surround your talisman with cleansed objects that represent your intention. It can be as simple or as complex as you like!
For example, if I want my talisman to attract luck, I’ll put acorns, dandelion leaves, a luck sigil, coins and a cup of camomile tea around it.
In a simplistic version of this spell, you could use one candle and slips of paper with words/drawings on them around your object - maybe with some clear quartz and rosemary to amplify the power of the spell.
4. Simply light the candles with the intent to draw in energy from the other objects and center the power on your talisman, charging it with your intent. If you like, you can recite a spell such as:
I call upon these powers three,
Earth, sky and sea,
To enchant a charm that attracts [your intention]
And brings it to me.
Leave the candles to burn for some time and charge the talisman.
5. Your talisman is ready to carry or wear!
Your talisman is now enchanted with your intention and would need to be disenchanted and/or thoroughly cleansed to remove the spell. It can be charged as you see fit to maintain its power.
Be patient and give it time to see results! It could take up to a month to start to see changes. If you feel as if the spell hasn’t worked, try cleansing the talisman and trying again - making your own variations if you prefer.
It’s a good idea to store talismans in their own bags or containers. If you have a lot of them (especially if they’re all the same objects enchanted differently), remember to label them!
Whether you’re new to witchcraft, or have been practicing for some time, chances are you’re already using talismans that you’re not even fully aware of!
Despite his flaws, Jircniv is a complex and nuanced character. He is not simply a power-hungry ruler, but rather a person who genuinely cares about the well-being of his people and the future of his empire. He is willing to take risks and make sacrifices for the sake of his goals, even if it means facing criticism and backlash. His ambition, pragmatism, and complex personality make him a compelling figure to follow throughout the story..
