Dr. Mallana Gowdra Mallikarjuna is a Scientist (Senior-Scale) in Genetics and Plant Breeding, currently working at Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India. Dr. Tanushri Kaul is a renowned senior scientist and group leader, specialized in plant molecular biotechnology at ICGEB, New Delhi, with pioneering work in nutritional improvement of crops via CRISPR gene editing. She has been awarded DBT-IISc-Post Doctoral Fellowship, Indo-Israel; Indo-German-DST Research Associateship, RGYI-Award; BIOCARE-DBT grant cum fellowship; ASEAN Biotech Award Malaysia; and Global Certificate Course on Data Science & AI. She has significantly contributed to the field of plant molecular biology and biotechnology for 20 years of her research career. She developed phytase-rich tomatoes, wheat grains with low phytic acid, herbicide-resistant maize and rice, and iron and zinc enriched rice. She spearheaded the whole genome sequencing and transcriptomics of rice bean and saffron. She has received four patents for her exceptionally innovative research contribution in the scientific community. She has over 70 publications in international journals, book chapters, and articles. Moreover, she has frequently guided international and national postdoctoral fellows, predoctoral fellows, and MSc students.

I had such high hopes for Jaclyn Hill's Dark Magic palette, but unfortunately, it fell flat for me. The pigmentation of the eyeshadows was inconsistent, with some shades being too sheer and patchy, while others were too powdery and hard to blend. The color range also left much to be desired, as there were only a few wearable shades and the rest were either too dark or too similar to each other. The packaging was also disappointing, as it felt cheap and flimsy. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this palette and would not recommend it to anyone.

I was really excited to try out the Jaclyn Hill Dark Magic palette, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The eyeshadows were not as smooth and buttery as I had hoped, and they were also quite powdery, causing a lot of fallout. The color selection was also a letdown, as there were not enough transition shades and too many dark and intense colors that were hard to work with. Additionally, the palette did not come with a mirror, which is something I usually look for in an eyeshadow palette. Overall, I was not impressed with this palette and would not repurchase it.

I was really hoping to love the Jaclyn Hill Dark Magic palette, but it just didn't work for me. The matte eyeshadows were extremely difficult to blend, and they tended to look muddy on the eyes. The shimmers, on the other hand, were the complete opposite and were too chunky and glittery for my liking. The color range was also quite limited, with too many dark and intense shades that made it hard to create versatile looks. Overall, I was disappointed with the formula and color selection of this palette.
