It's made out of such cheap materials that my 50 pound child tried swinging on it but we had to stop her because the beam started sagging horribly and looked like it might snap. We eventually tossed it because our 5yr old was sitting sitting in the hammock looking swing and the chain snapped from the top (which was the 2nd one to break!). I only hope I can save someone from wasting their money. Spare yourself the money (and potential medical bills) and pay a little more for something more reliable because this one is trash.
