Frizzle is still the most eccentric teacher in children s literature, giving students a true front-row seat to natural disasters, the furthest reaches of space, and even the inside of the human body. This fall my daughters are VERY excited about starting science because they’ve seen me getting this curriculum ready. They LOVE the Magic School Bus! We looked at getting a few Magic School Bus kits but quickly realized the cost was too expensive for us.
We then looked for free alternatives and found a few lesson plan ideas using SOME of the Magic School Bus Episodes but none that used all of the episodes, or else they didn’t included a living book or experiment element to them. When I later discovered all the amazing resources that the Magic School Bus provides on their website for FREE, I decided it was time to see what I could do about forming our own Magic School Bus lesson plans. The result is what you will see below. You can download it for FREE to use in your own homeschool or classroom this year.

It jumped from one concept to another without fully exploring any of them. Additionally, the characters lacked depth and development, making it difficult for me to connect with any of them. I was expecting a magical and educational adventure, but instead, I found myself bored and uninterested halfway through the book. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to others.
2. Michael - 1/5 - "Magic School B7s Science" was a total letdown for me. The writing style was overly simplistic, making it difficult to fully engage with the story. The plot was predictable and lacked originality. I found myself rolling my eyes at the cliché magical school tropes and uninspiring dialogue. The concept of incorporating science into the magical world had potential, but unfortunately, it fell flat due to poor execution. I was hoping for a captivating and imaginative read, but unfortunately, I couldn't wait for it to end.
3. Emily - 2/5 - As a fan of both magic and science, I was excited about "Magic School B7s Science". However, I was left disappointed. The blending of magic and science felt forced and unnatural, with very little explanation or exploration of how the two intertwined. The world-building was lacking, leaving me with a lot of unanswered questions. The writing style was also overly simplistic and lacked depth. Overall, the book didn't live up to my expectations and I wouldn't recommend it to others who are interested in a well-developed magical or scientific world.
