Nestled 10 miles outside Hayesville, our 11-acre Magical Mountain Resorts campground backs into the Tusquitee Ranger District of the Nantahala National Forest. Covering many of the mountains and valleys of southwestern North Carolina, the Nantahala National Forest is the largest in the state, encompassing 531,148 acres with elevations ranging from 5,800 feet at Lone Bald in Jackson County to 1,200 feet in Cherokee County along the Hiwassee River. In addition to stunning views and hiking opportunities, the forest also boasts access to three beautifully pristine lakes, two major rivers, and three large reservoirs.

The loft is only accessible by ladder, so please be careful when climbing! Firewood can be purchased and waiting for you upon request for $10 bundle. The cottage includes free parking for up to 2 vehicles. Security cameras monitor the property and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. There is an on-site dumpster for trash disposal. Please be advised no pets allowed. Magical Mountain Resorts will also provide special occasion set up pre-arrival for those celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or romantic getaway.
