The Witch and Wizard series is a collection of fantasy novels written by James Patterson and Gabrielle Charbonnet. The series follows the adventures of siblings Whit and Wisty Allgood, who discover that they possess magical abilities in a world where magic is outlawed by the totalitarian government known as the New Order. The series takes place in a dystopian society where the New Order rules with an iron fist, suppressing any form of creativity or individuality. Through their magical powers, Whit and Wisty become a threat to the New Order, and they are captured and imprisoned by the oppressive regime. Throughout the series, the siblings learn to harness their powers and join a resistance movement known as the Free World. They encounter other magically gifted individuals who join their cause, and together they fight against the New Order and its leader, The One Who Is The One.
Not long after this revelation, the Boy comes face to face with not only one witch, but an entire huge coven of witches who’ve all assembled — where else? — at a large hotel convention. And it’s, ironically, held at the very same hotel to which he and his grandmother have traveled to try and escape the witch! Because his grandmother has taught him how to recognize a witch, he immediately realizes what he’s stumbled upon. The results are calamitous (and genuinely creepy) for the Boy.
Shortly thereafter, he encounters a witch at the local drug store, and his grandmother, something of a spiritualist herself, initiates him into a world in which child-hating murderous witches are everywhere. Pros Stayed more true to the book especially the ending, Anne s performance was amazing and I could tell she had fun with this role, I liked Daisy Mary s story, the costumes were great especially the Grand High Witch s, loved the final battle feel between the grandma and the GHW, the beginning was really well done and emotional, loved the scene of the witches meeting especially the GHW s dialogue and the witches chasing after Luke, Mary and Bruno, even though she didn t have an unmasked form, I still liked what they did with the GHW s true look and still found it quite terrifying, loved Octavia s performance even though I felt that she was too young for the role.

The books are fast-paced and action-packed, with twists and turns that keep readers on the edge of their seats.
