The Curse of the Judas Chalice is an American made-for-television fantasy-adventure film in the vampire genre, the third and final installment in the trilogy. There are some differences between the shells, screws, blahblahblah that I know of because I have taken the 2 drums apart, but if someone isn't ever going to take the drum apart, who gives a crap, & it's just a great sounding drum.
The parts, for their differences are great quality, and aren't going to fail unless the drum is mistreated badly.
There's a difference in the shell between the BB and BM that's not related to the seam, but weather it has, or makes any difference to someone in the sound they hear is up to them.
This shell places very high or wins many categories in the snare Drum Olympics every year, so it's a quality shell.

The lugs themselves and the attaching hardware, strainer and butt plate are the exact same parts used on my World Max Vintage snare which is a very nice drum btw. I think it looks really cool, but since I have 2 Brass BB s now, it d be kinda stupid to get another black Brass drum my other BB is a 1989 Bronze shell.

The Ludwig Black Magic snare comes in 3 sizes each with a unique sound. The classic 5×14 snare is versatile and very crisp. A good choice for jazz, pop and rock. The 6.5×14 Ludwig Black Magic has higher volume play with a robust, open tone and genuine sensitivity. The 7×13 Black Magic snare delivers the best projection in the family and defines crisp, full-orbed tone.
In all models of the Ludwig Black Magic snare drum, the die-cast hoops enhance the clarity and energy of the attack while the brass shell manages to keep the sound warm. This drum, with its stunning black nickel, is a definite looker. Top-quality craftsmanship and a versatile tuning range round out the positive features of the Ludwig Black Magic snare.

This is a moderately expensive snare. Probably not a good choice for the novice drummer who may not stick with it. Even many serious drummers are priced out of the market for this model.
