They found another young Aurora crying as she took his sword with the intent of ending her and the memory surrounding it. As she got close however, the fallen zombified soldiers ambushed them. Aurora explained that the Sanctuary is rejecting them as Cid wondered if she'll return to the room where they met if she got killed. Becoming gradually overwhelmed, Cid went and killed the young Aurora, ending the memory. The two eventually reached the Sanctuary's magical core.

One of the original members of Cult, Jack Nelson consumed them to various results and concluded that it was imperfect due to it s pearl variant coming in limited quantities. Aurora s features contorted, a glimpse of something otherworldly manifesting, and an eerie energy emanated from her, shrouding the once-pure surroundings in darkness.
