1. Lisa - 1/5 stars - I had such high hopes for Magical View Hostel in Londonderry, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. The view outside was indeed stunning, but the inside of the hostel was a nightmare. The rooms were cramped and dirty, with outdated furniture and stained bedding. The shared bathrooms were hardly clean, and I even found a cockroach crawling on the floor. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and didn't seem to care about the state of the hostel. I would not recommend staying here unless you have no other options.

The rooms were poorly maintained, with peeling wallpaper and broken furniture. The noise from other guests was unbearable, and the thin walls did nothing to block it out. The bathrooms were often dirty and lacked basic amenities like soap and toilet paper. The overall atmosphere of the hostel was also quite unwelcoming. I didn't feel comfortable or safe during my stay here, and it definitely put a damper on my trip. There are definitely better options for accommodation in the area.

The staff were disinterested and unhelpful, and I felt like I was inconveniencing them with any request. The whole experience was just unpleasant, and I would strongly advise against staying here. Save your money and find a nicer place to stay in Londonderry.
