Mascots
The term "spike walleye" has been used to describe walleye that are about the diameter of a railroad spike (though perhaps a bit longer). These younger fish are below the 15" minimum size for a "keeper" walleye, but they are scrappy enough to take on fishing lures meant for the larger walleye. In a year or two, they will grow to adult size.
Using suggestions from a 'Name the Mascot' contest, Walleye staff members narrowed the list down to three choices. Those choices were presented at four local schools. The children had a chance to view photos of the mascots and vote for their favorite name. Spike was, by far, the most popular choice among the kids, garnering about 75% of the votes!

The official mascot of the Toledo Walleye Hockey Club is Wally The Walleye™. Walleye are freshwater fish, known for their excellent vision, speed and elusiveness. They are relatively large and predatory, and eat crayfish, minnows and yellow perch when in the wild.

Some of them had scratches and blemishes on them, making them look cheap. Additionally, the customer service was lacking. I had an issue with one of the amulets and tried to contact the seller multiple times, but received no response. I would not recommend buying from this seller.
2. Emily - 1 star - I regret purchasing from "Unparalleled amulets by poe". The amulet I received was nothing like the picture. The colors were dull and the craftsmanship was poor. It felt very flimsy and I could tell it wouldn't last long. Furthermore, the shipping took forever. It took almost a month to arrive, and when I tried to track the package, the information was never updated. Overall, a disappointing experience.
