In episode 2, Moroha doesn t like Shizuno playing the bad guy and taking all the blame for stuff that he s unable to do, such as hanging out with Satsuki. Shizuno gets mad because being an S-rank also means your freedoms are severely restricted and you re heavily monitored, and she doesn t want Moroha to have to live his life that way.
Excited by his find, Lucas takes the sword and starts using it in his battles against various creatures and evildoers. However, little does he know that the sword's power comes with a price. The curse attached to it slowly starts affecting Lucas, draining his energy and corrupting his thoughts.
