Create Enchanting Eyes with Black Magic Eye Liner: Tips from the Pros

By admin

Black magic eyeliner is a popular and trendy beauty product that is used to create dramatic and captivating eye looks. It is a type of eyeliner that is known for its intense black color, long-lasting formula, and easy application. What sets black magic eyeliner apart from other eyeliners is its ultra-pigmented formula, which allows for precise and bold lines. This type of eyeliner is perfect for creating winged eyeliner looks, smoky eyes, or any other eye look that requires a bold and defined line. One of the key features of black magic eyeliner is its long-lasting formula. Once applied, it stays in place for hours without smudging or fading.

In the past four months, I ve been testing out some Eyeko eyeliners Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner, Skinny Liquid Eyeliner swatched 3 times , Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner, Sport Waterproof Eyeliner. On the plus side, the pigment is ultra-black and the tip features a Japanese precision brush , which might be the finest eyeliner brush I ve ever used.

Once applied, it stays in place for hours without smudging or fading. This is especially important for those who have a busy lifestyle or for those who need their makeup to last throughout the day or night. In addition to its intense color and long-lasting formula, black magic eyeliner is also known for its easy application.

In the past four months, I’ve been testing out some Eyeko eyeliners – Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner, Skinny Liquid Eyeliner (swatched 3 times), Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner, Sport Waterproof Eyeliner. All of them disappointed me.

To be fair, I have the most finicky eyelids. They’re hooded AND oily, which make for some lovely racoon eyes at the end of the day whenever I wear eyeliner. I also have very watery eyes, so nothing ever lasts more than an hour on my waterline. Here’s my issue: if a product promises to be smudge-proof or waterproof , it better deliver. But only very occasionally do they truly deliver.

Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner + Widelash ($22 USD)

This product contains a tripeptide boost to promote lash growth for up to three times more length and volume in 15 days. I couldn’t get past a couple days of testing this one out because I found that the pigment would transfer to my lower lash line. On the plus side, the pigment is ultra-black and the tip features a “Japanese precision brush”, which might be the finest eyeliner brush I’ve ever used. It’s amazing. I haven’t thrown this one out because I’ve repurposed it for drawing temporary tattoos and cuticle accents (see my Instagram post).

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner ($22 USD)

What I don’t understand is how the Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner (above) has a skinnier brush than a product called the “Skinny” Liquid Eyeliner. In general, I prefer brush tip eyeliners over felt tip eyeliners. The Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner promises a smooth, glossy finish and carbon-black colour. It is slightly glossy and the black is very black, so it ticks those boxes. Where it doesn’t deliver is the waterproof and smudge-proof claims. I can get 4-5 hours of wear before I can see visible transfer onto my lower lash line. It’s not bad but my days are typically 12-16 hours so I require something a little more budge-proof.

Eyeko Sport Waterproof Eyeliner ($22 USD)

Last and perhaps least is the Eyeko Sport Waterproof Eyeliner. The packaging is well thought out, with a built in sharpener and brush to smudge the product into the lash line. It’s ultra black, which it also has going for it. I think what was most disappointing was that I LOVE the Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara. That stuff is golden. But the Eyeko Sport Waterproof Eyeliner did the same as the other two. It transferred onto my lower lash line, which is now and forever my biggest eyeliner gripe.

Overall

I’m sticking to my tried and true favourites. For pencil liner, I love the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayons. Furthermore, for liquid eyeliner, the Kat Von D Lock-it Tattoo Liner and Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner are long-lasting, all-day products (we’re talking a 16-20 hour day here). Perhaps if you don’t have hooded or oily lids, these Eyeko eyeliners might work in your favour.

Have you tried any Eyeko eyeliners? Did they work out for you?

It typically comes in the form of a pencil, gel, or liquid, and can be applied with a brush or directly from the pen. The smooth and creamy texture of the eyeliner allows for easy glide-on application, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced makeup enthusiasts. When using black magic eyeliner, it is important to remember to apply it to clean and dry eyelids to ensure maximum longevity. Additionally, it is advisable to start with thin lines and build up the thickness gradually to achieve the desired look. To conclude, black magic eyeliner is a versatile and popular beauty product that is loved for its intense color, long-lasting formula, and easy application. Whether you are going for a bold and dramatic look or a subtle and defined line, black magic eyeliner is a must-have in any makeup collection..

Reviews for "The Power of Black Magic Eye Liner: Transform Your Eyes into Spellbinding Works of Art"

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I purchased the Black Magic Eye Liner based on the positive reviews, but I was quite disappointed with the product. The formula was not as smooth as I expected, and it dried out very quickly. The application was patchy, and it required multiple coats to achieve a decent color payoff. Unfortunately, even after building up the product, it smudged and transferred easily throughout the day, giving me panda eyes. I wouldn't recommend this eyeliner to anyone looking for a long-lasting and precise application.
2. Alex - 1 star - The Black Magic Eye Liner was a complete letdown for me. The brush tip was quite flimsy and struggled to create a smooth line. The pigmentation was also lacking, requiring multiple passes to achieve a solid black color. Moreover, the formula took forever to dry and ended up smudging before I could even finish applying the rest of my makeup. Save your money and invest in a better quality eyeliner.
3. Emily - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Black Magic Eye Liner, but it just didn't deliver. The application was messy and streaky, making it difficult to create a clean and precise line. The staying power was also disappointing, as it started to fade and smudge within a couple of hours. Additionally, the formula seemed to irritate my sensitive eyes, causing them to water throughout the day. I had to constantly reapply and fix the liner, which was quite frustrating. Overall, I would not repurchase or recommend this eyeliner.
4. Jake - 1 star - I've used many eyeliners, but the Black Magic Eye Liner was one of the worst. The pigment was extremely weak, and I had to go over the line repeatedly to get a decent color payoff. It also took forever to dry, and even when it finally did, it smudged easily. The flimsy brush tip made it difficult to achieve a precise application, and the formula ended up transferring to my upper lids. Overall, I was unimpressed with this product and would not recommend it to others.
