The Curse of Midas is a mythical story that originates from Greek mythology. Midas was a king who ruled over the kingdom of Phrygia. He was a wealthy and powerful king who had everything he desired. One day, he showed great kindness to a drunken man who turned out to be the god Dionysus in disguise. In return for his kindness, Dionysus offered to grant Midas any wish he desired. Midas, being a greedy king, wished that everything he touched would turn to gold.
