If I could give this place less than 1 star I would! After getting my car cleaned I realised that one of the rear windows had a scratch on the tinting, so I drove back and pointed it out to them. They refused to take any responsibility for it! I know the scratch wasn’t there before hand. If it didn’t happen when they were cleaning the inside of the window, then they did it when they were moving the rear seats back into position and fitting the boot guard on. . I was going to put the seats back into position, but they said that they would do it. It is actually my parents car that I am borrowing, so I am extra cautious with it, which is why I noticed the scratch straight away. I bought my parents a voucher from Magic Hands as a thank you for them lending me their car & they refused to give me my money back for the voucher. Why would my parents want to go back there? The car is less than a year old. There is no damage to it anywhere else. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS DODGY BUSINESS.

Th vacuum has got the air conditioner bottom and the staff couldn’t find it inside of the equipment. Maybe they did not try to find. I am really disappointed with the quality service overall. Never been there again. 1860 pointers store.

Do not use this place unless you want your car damaged and not cleaned properly.
I was over charged, my car was still dirty when I picked it up. Was charge for wax but owner said it wasn’t done and won’t refund. Car had to be towed afterwards due to a staff member engaging 4x4 incorrectly. Owner is rude and refuses to take responsibility and won’t even offer an apology for what has happened. Cost $300 originally quoted $250, my car is 3 months old and will need repairs and a new detail to fix what they have done.

Heathmont Scammers: try to upsell every time

Heathmont location used to be our favourite car wash. Now when you go and you ask for a clean they tell you it’s too dirty and you need to pay for more expensive clean. Last time they wouldn’t do a basic clean. Only $89. I went with it as it had been a while between washes. Yet today it was worse. They were the last people to wash my car yet they tell me today that it’s now $155 as it’s too dirty - they were the last to clean it! And there was less time between cleans, than when they cleaned it for $89. We took our car to Vermont Majestic. For a way better experience and way better price. Don’t let people bully you and lie about their service. Other reviews suggest this is their business model. So beware, and go somewhere else.

I have just had my daughter’s car cleaned which is a Mazda CX3. It was DISGUSTING inside. The seats were marked and putrid and and I was hoping for it to just be better than it was but the Mini Detail ended up being above and beyond my expectations!! The car literally looks new again. Maximum price, minimum result

$85 ‘Super Wash’, car came back barely any cleaner than when it went in.
Lower part of vehicle still covered with mud. Interior still dirty.
Zero attention to detail.
Super wash = superficial wash.

Great job and customer service

Been going to Victoria Park car wash for a few years. Their customer service is excellent and I have always been happy with the results. Highly recommend. They have never let me down.

I so want to give more stars but I simply cant

I have been a client of Magic Hand since Claude first started the business in 1996 I think it was. Once it was franchised, things took a bit of a dive. The only car wash in the area I live in is Magic Hand Ferntree Gully. They are pleasant enough but i have never once got my car back as clean as they up sell me. I asked for the standard clean, they told me that didnt include a 'proper' clean of the dashboard, that I would need to upgrade to get 'extra' service, I found this absurd but agreed on the understanding that they needed to remove . some paint marks from the rear door (some paint had rubbed off onto the duco from a cane chair, these marks were about 2mm wide and about 10mm long and there were three of them). Told my car was ready but these marks were still there. I asked for them to be removed, I was then told I would need to upgrade the clean as they needed a hand polish (the upgraded service in theory already included this). I indicated that the fellow I had spoken to when I arrived told me this would be done. So they removed them and left marks on the door. Just dreadful. I find myself being scammed into paying for more expensive washes without any real benefit. There is no customer loyalty at all anymore and everyone of the franchisees seem to do this. After 25 years I just cant do this anymore. Claude - you created a great business but it is a shadow of its former self.

Best car wash in Perth

The staff were friendly and professional and followed up to see if I was happy or there was anything else they could do. I was also very happy with the finished product.

Damaged the window tint and lied about it

I took my car to Magic car wash in Richmond.
The service I paid for was an express detail with hand wax and polish leather clean and condition and dash and vinyl dressing, and which was $230.
After I inspected the car I found there were scratches to the tint on both rear passenger windows on the inside.
I took it back to Magic car wash and spoke to somebody there about it.
The man I spoke to took photos and said he would ask his colleague who is there on Wednesday morning regarding this but I have not heard back from him yet.

oked too so a scraper had been used on the tint and he told me that they do not use scrapers. However I saw a paint scraper and asked man what it was for and he said it's for removing stickers. Anyway, it was very disappointing and unprofessional that the man lied to me about this. I emailed Magic Hand Car Wash soon afterwards regarding this issue, there was no response, so I sent another email. A Customer Service Representative responded saying that the Store Manager would like to sort the matter out immediately, to which I accepted. Nothing happened and after several email attempts to contact them over the last two Months there has still been no response. It seems fairly clear that they are avoiding me in relation to this issue, which in my opinion is unacceptable.

Perfect & timely service

I noted after the clean that there were calcium stains on top of the car that I had been hoping to get rid of. They worked on it a little longer and and with no hesitation or extra costs. They managed to get the stains right off.

Customer service outstanding

When I got home I noticed streaks on the cars paintwork. It was only noticeable in direct sunlight when you looked at the paint work on an angle. Took the car back and without hesitation it was rectified with a buff and polish at no charge.

Tea Tree Plaza don't look after returning clients

After having my car washed & detailed at the same location for over 10 years, tried to get my car washed at 3.00pm. "too busy" was the response. "OK, what time is convenient?", "we close at 5.00pm". Returned at 4.30pm only to see them packing up & putting chains across the wash area. "you told me to come back before 5.00pm". "yes but we pack up at 4.30pm" Just lost one very loyal customer..

Hit and miss

I've been using this business for years at 3 different locations. The first place broke my air con vent and the second dislodged one of the plastic panels next to the rear window leaving the air bag exposed. Both incidents were denied and because I couldn't prove they did it, there was nothing I could do about it. The 3rd place I currently go to has been good so far but I photograph my car in and out now before I drop it off, just in case.

Broken tail light and they’ve tried to blame me

After 2 years of visiting Magic in North Fremantle, the broke a tail light on my X5 and had the audacity to say it was already broken. it wasn’t. consumer affairs will be in touch shortly.

Stunning result on my 2 utes

I had my work Ute detailed and when I picked it up it was an excellent improvement on what I left the guys with before. Then I had my Amarok Ute detailed and it is like new. I had a piccolo coffee, which was perfect. So in a nutshell, great looking clean vehicles inside and out and to top it off a perfect coffee. Doesn’t get any better then that! Thanks to the great staff at FTG Magic car wash.

Such a quick polite service

I was just driving past when I thought I’d get my car cleaned. They were so polite! Very clear instructions. Very quick. I will definitely be back again for the full detail.

Waste of Time and Money

I paid for a Full Detail (valued at $300) and it was appalling. They had my car for 6 hours and there were clearly areas that had not been touched at all. I refused to accept the car until issues were attended to and even after an extra 30 minutes, there was still work that needed to be done.

I told the Manager that I was not happy and he said I shouldn’t get so angry about little things that had been missed. I said that after 6 hours, I expected much better.

One issue was black marks on my chrome sidesteps. He told me they couldn’t remove them because ,”We’re not painters”. I just spent 60 seconds with some polish and a Tea Towel and the marks came straight off!

Don’t waste your time or money.

Overall ok

I think for convenience they are ok, however they need to stop up selling extras. I get that in a Westfield they are possibly paying high rents. But if they listen more to what the customer wants and do good detailing then they would increase their customer base.

Fantastic service

I went to Victoria Park Magic Handwash in Perth on a busy Saturday morning. I got more than I paid for in service to my car. The clean was thorough inside and out. I even asked for extra to be done to the headlights and that I would pay on top of already paid for. The Manager kindly did it for free. What better service can you ask for then that! Definitely recommend this place and will be back again. Top job Magic Handwash!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Won’t return!

Chermside location, 5 year old car kept well decided to treat myself to extraction clean on the front seats while it gets a wash. This was the outcome. Stay away!

Waste of money!

I purchased a Scoopon voucher for a mini detail at the Karingal site. They did a terrible job. Parts of outer panels were not even washed let alone waxed. Rims were still dirty, door jams and tops of windows dirty, windscreen not cleaned properly and they didn't even use tyre black. I will never use a magic hand again and do not recommend them to anyone!

Horrible service! Wasn’t even cleaned it properly

I went to the plenty valley car wash and I got told it would take around 2 hours to get it cleaned, my kids and I went shopping to kill some time, half and hour longer then we were meant to. We came back and they only vacuumed it, and told me they hadn’t even started washing it yet, I had to wait for another hour! I am really annoyed, not good service and I don’t recommend

Huge Markup

I have been to my local Magic in North Fremantle a few times and its been fine. Until the last time a few weeks ago when instead of the usual $49 in and out clean, they wanted plus $40 because of the sand inside.
Just now I received an email offering a cheap rate. Then I read that each franchise can charge its own fees! So I did not have the clean, haven't been back and won't be.
I concede some sand was in the car and an extra fee perhaps would be reasonable but not almost DOUBLE!

Amazing clean inside and out. Done in under half an hour!

Excellent communication and a wonderful clean. Genuinely feels like magic when your car is picked up and dropped off feeling like new within half an hour. What an amazing service! I'm never cleaning my car myself again.

Terrible job - will never go back

House keys+car compartment cover lost / money stolen,
Which was denied until they found the car compartment inside the vacuum cleaner.
All back windows uncleaned and still dirty - Streaks everywhere !!
Staff unconcerned I was unable to access my home and wouldn't acknowledge the missing money.

eps claiming that must be just water splash from the other cars they are washing like seriously. water splash turns into dust on the same spots I left and all windows looks really awful with the marks. Another guy approach and tried to spray and wipe using a cloth, doing it every spot I showed him, after 30mins I told him I cant do it anymore cuz Im rushing already wasted almost 2hours for nothing, so he called his manager, manager insisted showing me the CCTV as a proof they washed but I declined and told him it’s pointless because regardless they washed it they should have done the right job cuz I paid for the service, ended up just driving off cuz there’s nothing they wanna compensate for it other than wiping through a cloth. Not happy!!

I used to get my car washed monthly until one of my shoes went missing out of the boot. The attitude of the supervisor was blase and there was no recourse. Lost my custom!

Car looks brand new

I drove into the Ferntree Gully carwash for a much need, impromptu clean and WOW they did a brilliant job. I had the superior wash as the inside of my car was rather dirty and now it looks brand new. I was very impressed that they were able to remove the spilled coffee stains from the center console. I couldn't have vacuumed the carpets and mats as well as they did. I will definitely go to them again.

Disappointed!

Windscreen still grotty, bugs still on wing mirror muddy marks on sidesteps and my granddaughters little handmarks still on inside windows, very disappointing, last time I used Magic Hands they were good

Gift vouchers Brought and were not Activated

Bought 2 vouchers for my children from Roxburgh Park only for it to close down and re open as Star on calling Magic they 2 new Vouchers however Magic Epping won't redeem them and the closet car wash is miles away lost 110 dollars. Staff at Epping Underground were rude and told us to leave as they want paying clients only well they lost so much business with us and our families.

Bad job!

While the car was reasonably clean, it smelt strongly of cigarette smoke after it was done at the Carindale car wash. Horrendous! Can't believe I paid $50 for that! Don't go there. I certainty won't again.

Website prices not honoured

I took my car in for what I thought would cost $89. Superior wash plus steam clean of two seats. They told me I had to have a superior service plus. Extra $30. Seats were not the advertised $20 but were $45 each. They did a great job but I cannot help but feel I was conned. I wouldnt go back.
