Cocoa vs. Cacao: Unraveling the Philosophical Debate

By admin

Philosophie Cacao Mafic is a concept that combines the world of philosophy and the appreciation of chocolate. It is a term that encapsulates the idea of finding meaning and satisfaction in the simple pleasures of life, such as indulging in a delicious piece of chocolate. Philosophie Cacao Mafic is derived from the word "philosophy", which refers to the study of fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, values, reason, and more. It encourages individuals to question the nature of reality and seek wisdom and understanding. On the other hand, "cacao" refers to the plant from which chocolate is made, and "mafic" is a geological term that describes a type of igneous rock. The combination of these words creates a unique concept that brings together the intellectual and sensory aspects of human experience.

As a plant medicine, cacao is comparatively gentle and loving, but a medicine all the same - often she calls to those of us who are of a more sensitive constitution, so it's good to start off with a smaller dose if this is your first cacao experience. (I actually no longer serve what's typically regarded as the "ceremonial dose" - this was simply an invention of the westerner who coined the term "cacao ceremony", and in my personal experience (in over 5 years of sharing cacao and consuming daily myself) different sized bodies, different metabolic rates, different sensitivities and constitutions mean there's no single "correct" dosage. For how I share the medicine, huge servings are not necessary to experience the inner journey and the energy of the cacao, nor the emotional release. I prefer a gentler approach so emotional purging isn't necessarily part of it for everyone either.

Cacao in the concentrated doses we consume in ceremony therefore increases blood flow to the brain heart by at least 40 so you may be better off with a smaller dose. This medicine contains a lot of serotonin-boosters, which is why you need to be careful if youre on any medication which also works on the serotonin levels in your system.

The combination of these words creates a unique concept that brings together the intellectual and sensory aspects of human experience. The notion of Philosophie Cacao Mafic suggests that the act of enjoying chocolate can be elevated to a philosophical endeavor. By savoring the taste, texture, and aroma of chocolate, one can engage in a contemplative and mindful experience.

Addicting!

This stuff is AMAZING! It's so sweet and dense. I mix it in my energy bites for added taste and I eat it raw for a bit of sweetness. Highly recommend-just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Wasn’t what I expected

Love watching Sophie and the kids enjoy these items! Was excited to join them in the superfood fun! Maybe I misunderstood how to consume but as soon as I opened the jar I stirred it up and took a spoon to it like I had seen them do. I was shocked. I love clean tasting foods, the earthier the better, but this tastes like cough syrup and cacao (which I know is quite bitter). I think I was expecting it to be more of a frosting consistency and sweeter, but it was the opposite and that’s ok. Just not for me

Reviews for "The Philosophy of Fair Trade Cacao: Investigating the Ethics of Chocolate"

1. Samantha - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with the Philosophie cacao mafic. It had a very bitter taste that was overpowering and not enjoyable at all. I couldn't even finish my cup of hot chocolate. I also found the texture to be quite grainy, which added to my disappointment. Overall, I definitely wouldn't recommend this product if you're looking for a smooth and creamy hot chocolate experience.
2. John - 1/5 - This cacao mafic from Philosophie was a big letdown for me. The flavor was incredibly dull and lacked any depth. It just tasted like regular hot water with a hint of cocoa powder. I expected a rich and indulgent chocolatey experience, but this fell way short. There are definitely much better hot chocolate options available that I would recommend over this one.
3. Michelle - 2/5 - I usually love trying different hot chocolate brands, but this one from Philosophie was a disappointment. It had a strange aftertaste that was almost medicinal, and it left me with a slightly unpleasant sensation in my mouth. The packaging was also misleading, as it promised a creamy and luxurious hot chocolate, but it was anything but that. I wouldn't repurchase this product in the future.
