I recently came across a fascinating story about a cursed enchantment window tint that has been the source of much lore and speculation. It is believed that this cursed tint holds a dark and powerful magic, bringing misfortune and tragedy to those who possess it. Legend has it that the cursed enchantment window tint was first created centuries ago by a sorcerer who sought to imbue his vehicle with a protective barrier against evil forces. Techno Kayo is a style of Kayōkyoku which features slick, electronic productions made for Japanese “idol” singers. Many Techno Kayo songs were produced by members of Yellow Magic Orchestra and Moonriders. P-Vine Records’s impressive 8 compilations selected and highlighted a bunch of Techno Kayo songs on various labels from Polydor, Teichiku, Victor and Kind Records. Unfortunately, For Life Records and CBS/Sony didn’t participate in the project leaving some holes in their genre overviews. As a genre it fits in a narrow spot between Synthpop, New Wave, and emerging J-Pop.
