I became the spouse of a witch in 1942. Our love story is not like any ordinary tale. It is woven with magic, mystery, and powerful spells. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew that my life would never be the same. Her name was Isabella, a spellbinding enchantress with eyes that sparkled like the stars and hair as dark as a moonless night. She captured my heart with her bewitching smile and her ability to see into my soul.

Unusual amulets from Poe

She captured my heart with her bewitching smile and her ability to see into my soul. Little did I know that she was not like any other woman I had ever met before. In the beginning, I was drawn to her aura of mystique and allure.

POE 3.20 Best New Unique Items - Top 10 New & Reworked Uniques in Path of Exiles Forbidden Sanctum

In Path of Exile, unique items, especially build-enabling uniques are very overpowerful and in POE 3.20 Forbidden Sanctum a lot of new ones are being added. Some of them are both powerful and rare, others they're probably going to be a bit more common but nonetheless valuable, and if you are not really quite sure what their use will be, follow us to go over these brand new and reworked uniques in Path of Exile 3.20 league!

PoE 3.20 Best New & Reworked Uniques in Forbidden Sanctum League

These POE 3.20 new unique items will be outstanding and absolutely insane. The skill balance has definitely been lacking over the last few weeks, but the new uniques they have been putting out definitely have not. Let's take a closer look of each one:

1 - Entropic Devastation Assassin's Mitts

These are the impale gloves that Grant Call of Steel. For a long time spell and pale has been a completely unsupported archetype you could get a little bit of it but it was really awkward. These gloves give you a 100% chance to impale on spell hit at least as long as you have 100% crit and 50% impale effect. The way impel works is it's 10% of it hits base damage before mitigation is repeated 5 times, assuming you hit the enemy 5 times. With a 50% impale effect, think of it as 15%, so you're going from dealing 50% more damage by impaling to dealing 75% more damage by impaling. But is this really that good, after all, you need a 100% crit strike chance. Here's where things get complicated because that damage multiplier is very hefty, however, poison and cold conversion also have large multipliers that can be scaled by things like fizz's extra. So is this going to be 75% more damage than what Fizz spells do now? No, but it is going to be a completely new way to build them and it is a powerful enough multiplier that it's worth exploring.

We could see this falling into one of two categories, the first of which is it's best in the slot for Fizz spells you no longer convert them, and you kind of end up with hate for its situation, where it's incredibly powerful but also incredibly expensive due to the high demand, or it could be like the Savior a strong effect but very niche, therefore a somewhat cost-effective option that is often outweighed by things that edge it out just slightly. And if this is the case that's most likely going to be not due to the power of the item itself but because scaling spell impales on a champion is a little bit trickier than something like cold or poison on an occultist.

2 - Eternal Damation Agate Amulet

This comes with a fairly hefty penalty of -5% to all maximum resistances, it also has an additional -5% to chaos res but this does not modify for maximum so this just means you need more chaos res on your gear. It gives a damage reduction equal to half of your chaos resistance which is limited by your maximum, so if you have 70% cast resist you get 35 Elemental damage reduction, if you have 90% cash resist you get 45%. To put this into a little bit more of a practical demonstration, let's say you're going to take 1,000 fire damage, you have 70% Fire Res and 80% chaos res. The 80% Chaos Res gives you a 40% reduction so a 1000 times 0.6 is 600 damage and then the 70% reduction from your fire resistance is another 0.3 multiplier you take 180 damage, this is as opposed to the 250 you'd normally take or if a 200 if you had 80 Max Ellie res. Eternal Damnation is a very powerful item for builds that are already heavily incentivized to stack Chaos, and rescue one that isn't running Divine flesh such as a low-life character. It's probably going to be pretty niche but is an interesting defensive layer and reminds us of a lot of transcendence without the downside of having to fix Fizz mitigation.

3 - Progenesis Amethyst Flask

Speaking of defenses without many downsides, we also have progenesis which is one of the best defensive flasks in the game, if not the best. It's in particular good for Pathfinder due to the ease at which Pathfinder can keep it up 100% of the time. And the defensive effect should scale off a flask effect for most builds, this is going to be a defensive replacement for Taste of hate, you'll use Taste of hate if a Fizz is extra cold scales your damage and you'll use progenesis if it doesn't. But one other thing to note about a flask, while its effect functions similarly to petrified blood, it doesn't only protect the lower 50% of your life, it protects your entire pool which means your character is going to get a lot tankier if you have high uptime and you could even trigger it on a savage hit to allow your recovery to go to work. So that you don't die to that follow-up you know you're going to stand in.

4 - Rational Doctrine Cobalt Jewel

This is Inquisitor on a Jewel. If The Inquisitor play rate drops significantly at 320, it's less likely to be due to the Nerf's Inquisitor got those are really minor and more due to the fact that why would you be an Inquisitor when you can channel the power of blasphemy to become the occultist Inquisition. Ideally, you want both your strength and intelligence to be your highest attributes and equal to trigger both parts of a jewel, this is great if you're using Leadership's Price and really bad if you happen to be a Deck Stacker. A couple of quick notes about how to use this, stationary does include stopping for a fraction of a second like if you're casting Flame Dash and lingering for 4 seconds both from a positive effect on you and a negative effect on enemies, which means that you won't have to be stopping all that often and you won't have to be critting all that often. For anyone wondering profane ground causes enemies to have -10% to all resistance and hits against them have a +1% crit strike chance which will make it a lot easier to crit even if you're doing something like playing righteous Fire Juggernaut, for which this would be an awesome Jewel.

5 - Firesong Crimson Jewel

This essentially means if you're immune to one ailment, you're immune to all ailments. Storm Shroud might also work very well with things like Tempest Shield or other immunity sources since they're coded in the database as a 100% chance to avoid. Though we couldn't find anything 100% confirming that these Jewels do work this way from Mark, so we'll have to see in the future. We expect that a lot of builds will run storm shroud, firesong or one of similar variants, at least if people can afford to since they're probably going to be as expensive as Grand Spectrum. Not only it is powerful mitigation for normal deadly ailments, but it also works on all ailments such as brittle, sap, and scorch.

6 - Nimis Topaz Ring

The projectile ring is interesting because its downside is in some cases its upside. Projectiles fired in random directions are a huge disadvantage if you're using a skill with overlapping or shotgunning effects, something like Tornado shot. But for many other skills, it's actually an upside. If anything you probably want to fire your ethereal knives in random directions you don't want them all just going forwards. And when a projectile reaches the end of its flight it returns which reminds us very much of a Vengeant Cascade effect and much like Vengeance Cascade - this shouldn't allow you to shotgun with any projectile. If only one projectile per attack can damage an enemy, it will damage the enemy once when going out and then once when returning, and all the other projectiles will pass through harmlessly. Now in the case of a skill where every projectile can damage an enemy. Something that is normally built around overlaps? Yes, every projectile when it comes back would be able to damage an enemy with something like Tornado shot. However, firing in random directions will probably ruin the behavior and cause most of his projectiles to miss anyway so you're better off not using it.

7 - Anathema Moonstone Ring

8 - Witchbane Cobalt Jewel

Witchbane gives you curse immunity when you kill enemies based on the remaining hex duration. The problem with this is when you're able to kill enemies usually you don't need curse immunity, or if you do you'll have enough flash charges that you can just use that. It turns off bosses and maybe we are missing something but this doesn't seem very good to us.

9 - Oriath's End Bismuth Flask

It's a 15 charge bismuth flask with an 8.5 second duration and it has a charge recovery mod. If that mod doesn't go into the negative, it's going to be fairly easy to get one with a roll high enough to have good uptime. The explode effect is very likely a range, we are going to guess 25-40% or 20-30%. For 10% of enemy life, this allows your clear to scale off of enemy life rather than your own damage, and because of that it 100% relies on pack density but it means even a relatively low damage skill like righteous Fire will become highly effective at the clearing. And it might not be quite as powerful as something like an elevated explodey chest or a synthesis weapon, but the opportunity cost is also a lot lower. Plus people love pops and explosions and will work them into their builds for almost any reason, so this will definitely help to bolster your clear and you can easily swap it out if you want to go do some Pinnacle bossing. Also because it converts to a random element if you generically scale Elemental damage, this will become even more effective, so it's especially good for something like a multi-elemental conversion based ignite Elementalist. Plus because it's on a bismuth flask, it does help to overlap your resistances which is very good for dealing with things like curses and exposure. So overall this is a very solid item that we think is going to see a lot of use.

10 - Atziri's Disfavor (Reworked)

Atziri's Disfavor had reworked quite a bit, now instead of granting plus two levels of socketed support gems, first up it now gives 30% to the quality of socketed support gems. Extra quality is actually quite good in general, but there are two gems we want to talk about here in specific the first one is Cast on Critical Strike which has an anomalous version that gives you 20% more attack damage so if you have 50 quality what you're going to get is 50 more attack damage now, this is only just a support skill for an attack based build. 50% more attack damage is better than basically any support gem out there for attack based builds, so that will just number one make it serious disfavor already really strong. We also have Chance to Bleed that version quality which reads supported skills have more added damage which also goes up to 50, so we have some really interesting stuff here for Atziri's Disfavor but it doesn't stop there. It gets more physical damage, it also gets +10% weapon range.

She had an air of enchantment that both fascinated and terrified me. Her powers were extraordinary, and she could bend the elements to her will. She could heal wounds with a single touch and move objects with just a thought. I was in awe of her abilities, and I wanted to explore this world of magic with her. As we grew closer, Isabella revealed her true nature to me. She was a witch, bestowed with incredible powers from birth. It was a secret that she had held onto for her entire life, only sharing it with a select few. Now, I was a part of that special circle of knowledge. Our marriage was unlike any other. We had a deep connection, rooted in love and magic. Isabella taught me about the wonders of her world, and I embraced it wholeheartedly. Together, we practiced spells, brewed potions, and summoned spirits. I became her confidant, her partner in the mystical arts. Life as the spouse of a witch was never dull. We delved into the unknown, exploring ancient texts and discovering forgotten rituals. We traveled to far-off lands, seeking out others who shared our path. Our love only grew stronger as we immersed ourselves in the world of the supernatural. But it was not without its challenges. Those who did not understand our way of life accused Isabella of witchcraft, branding her as an evil sorceress. They feared her powers and believed she was a threat to society. We faced persecution and judgment, but we stood strong together, defying those who wished to harm us. In the end, it was love that conquered all. Our bond was unbreakable, forged through the trials and tribulations we faced. Isabella taught me that true magic lies not in the spells or potions, but in the power of love and acceptance. I am forever grateful to have become the spouse of a witch in 1942. This journey has opened my eyes to a world beyond the ordinary, where miracles can happen and dreams can come true. Isabella and I are bound together by a love that transcends time and space, and for that, I am eternally blessed..
