No one in the town knew where she came from or where she lived, but her presence was always felt during the annual Candy Festival. Every year, in the month of October, Sugarville transformed into a haven of sugary delights. The streets were lined with colorful candy canes, and the air was filled with the scent of freshly baked cookies. 1. Karen - 2 stars - I was really excited to read "The Candy Witch Chronicle" after hearing all the buzz, but I was completely disappointed. The plot was weak and the characters were one-dimensional. I couldn't connect with any of them and found myself not caring about what happened. The writing style was also lacking, with awkward dialogue and repetitive descriptions. Overall, I found the book to be a letdown and wouldn't recommend it.
