Uncovering the Secrets of The Witch Store

By admin

The witch's store is a place of mystery and magic. Tucked away in a hidden corner of a small village, it is a place where those seeking potions, spells, and enchanted objects can find what they seek. The store itself is unassuming, with a simple wooden sign hanging above its entrance, adorned with symbols of the occult. Inside, shelves lined with jars and bottles of various shapes and sizes hold an array of ingredients and elixirs, each with its own unique properties. The witch who runs the store is a wise and enigmatic woman, with silver hair and eyes that seem to hold ancient secrets. She has spent years studying the art of witchcraft and has acquired a vast knowledge of herbalism, divination, and spellcasting.

History of The Official Witch Shoppe:

The Official Witch Shoppe, located in Salem, Massachusetts, was opened by "The Official Witch of Salem" Reverend Laurie Cabot, H.P.’s.

In 1970 Laurie Cabot opened her first Witch shop on Derby Street in Salem; this store was the first Witch shop in the United States! Over the years as times change so has the location and name of the store from Derby Street to Essex Street and finally to its current location at Pickering Wharf and the names Crow Haven Corner (still open under different management), and The Cat, The Crow and the Crown (closed in 2010) to its final incarnation of The Official Witch Shoppe.

In January 2012, the physical location of The Official Witch Shoppe closed. Through a partnership with On-Line New England, Inc., Laurie Cabot helped develop The Official Witch Shoppe Online Shopping, which was home to all of Laurie Cabot's handmade products in addition to an expansive catalog of quality items.

In 2017 On-Line New England inc, which owned the Salem brick-and-mortar store Enchanted was sold to Enchanted LLC, which has retrained the physical store in Salem, Massachusetts.

In 2023 Enchanted LLC launched a brand new website located HERE! All of Laurie Cabot's products have since been moved to our new online store.
