Finding Balance: Incorporating Dark and Light Elements in Wiccan PFPs

By admin

In the world of social media, profile pictures (or pfps) are an essential part of one's online presence. People often choose images that reflect their interests, beliefs, or simply portray their personality. Wiccan pfps are profile pictures chosen by individuals who identify as or are interested in the Wiccan religion. Wicca is a modern pagan, witchcraft-based religion that emerged in the mid-20th century. It draws inspiration from various ancient pagan practices and emphasizes the worship of nature and the use of magic. Wiccans believe in the existence of divine energies or spirits present in all living things and seek to live in harmony with nature.

Witchcraft & Magical Theory

Hi everyone! Five years ago I started THE WITCHES’ WORKBOOK, a book project designed for beginners to start their practical journey into magic, witchcraft, and spellcraft. I’m so happy that it’s been helpful to you all over these years, and wanted to put up a post!

CHAPTER ONE: BEGINNING WITCHCRAFT is an orientation into what witchcraft is and isn’t, common misconceptions, avoiding cultural appropriation, vocab, and other basics.

CHAPTER TWO: ELEMENTS OF WITCHCRAFT goes into all the aspects and fundamental pillars of witchcraft, ritual, spellcraft, and other “witch adjacent” crafts like herbalism and divination.

CHAPTER THREE: ENERGY ESSENTIALS is a guide on how to perceive and manipulate energy, including meditation, grounding and centering, raising energy, charging, and more.

You can read the three chapters so far here: https://theoryofmagick.gumroad.com/

It’s also available in PDF form on Discord, via @archives-discord.

The books are always free, but tips are always appreciated! I hope to continue the project with more volumes as time goes on. Happy 5th Bookiversary to you all!

These workbooks are succinct and well put together, the essential ‘beginner’ text that everyone’s been begging for in a modern witchcraft resource!

These workbooks have been a server favourite since they were submitted, so if you haven’t had the chance to read it, now is the time.

is it okay to use your cauldron for other purposes after you do a rite of banishment in it?

Yup! Just go ahead and cleanse/prep it as usual (with whichever method you usually use - saltwater with rinse/dry, smoke cleansing, etc), and it should be good to go!

Cross-Checking & Intentional Obfuscation

Reminder to my researching witch pals: Always, always cross-check; for newbie and veteran witches doing thorough research is pivotal, tons of documents and books have either intentionally misleading items, intentional obfuscation, and/or intentional - and not so intentional - mistakes, frequently to throw off irresponsible users, sometimes due to genuine mistakes, and, most of all, you might know where something works for your specific practice that fills in an obviously missing or incorrect piece. As you read and learn and progress, keep in mind to read lots of sources, cross-check them, and use your critical thinking skills.

How to Raise, Move, and Throw Energy: A Practical Guide

One of the most common questions I get is “Ash - how do you ACTUALLY, PRACTICALLY move, throw, and raise energy? A lot of those guides seem to be missing some key steps!” I hear you - and I’m here to break it down.

Below is my own method, slowed down piece by piece. Remember - raising and using energy is a personal matter/varies from person to person, so feel free to adjust, change, or discard any part of this guide to suit your practice!

Wiccans believe in the existence of divine energies or spirits present in all living things and seek to live in harmony with nature. Choosing a Wiccan pfp can be a way for individuals to express their connection with nature, their spirituality, or their identification with the Wiccan community. Some common elements present in Wiccan pfps include symbols related to nature, such as trees, moons, or animals.

1. Raising Energy

With a combination of physical action, “psyching yourself up”, verbal action, or psychological methods, raise your adrenaline, emotional, or excitement levels in a way that gets more intense the more you do it. E.g., chanting until the words start to lose meaning or you get into a trance state, dancing around the circle until you get a runner’s high and start laughing/having fun and forgetting yourself, and then basically keep performing that action until your emotional/excitement/adrenaline reaches a breaking point. The best way to describe this is escalating excitement. If you’re into EDM, this is how it feels when a beat is about to drop and keeps escalating. This should feel physical and psychological - literally like hitting a runner’s high when you’re exercising, or getting so excited about a date you start to shake. The easiest way to do this is to raise energy with physical activity or chanting. You can enhance this action by doing it moving in a circle around the object you’re going to put energy into.

Many sources cite a series of ways traditionally used to raise energy, which are practical actions to be used in conjunction with the above, as a focus: Raising power with chanting (sub in your own belief system in what you choose for the chant), dance, or singing is common - you can stick with praying too, just be sure to raise and escalate, just to name a few.

Wiccan pfp

Additionally, images of witches, cauldrons, or spellbooks might also be chosen as Wiccan pfps, showcasing their affiliation with witchcraft practices. Wiccan pfps can serve as a visual representation of one's beliefs, allowing Wiccans to connect with like-minded individuals or initiate discussions about their religion. These profile pictures often generate curiosity and can spark conversations about Wicca and its principles. For individuals who are interested in exploring the Wiccan religion or simply appreciate its aesthetic, using a Wiccan pfp can be a way to show support and solidarity with the community. It can also serve as a reminder of their personal beliefs or a source of inspiration for their spiritual practices. In conclusion, Wiccan pfps are profile pictures chosen by individuals who identify as or are interested in the Wiccan religion. They serve as a visual representation of Wiccan beliefs and can initiate discussions or showcase support for the Wiccan community. Whether they feature symbols of nature or images related to witchcraft, these profile pictures allow individuals to express their spirituality and connect with like-minded individuals online..

Reviews for "Wiccan PFP for Social Media: Creating an Authentic and Engaging Online Persona"

1. Sarah - 1 star - I was extremely disappointed with "Wiccan pfp". The quality of the pictures was severely lacking and it wasn't even remotely close to what I was expecting. The images were blurry and pixelated, making it impossible to use as a profile picture. I also found the selection to be very limited and uninspiring. Overall, I would not recommend "Wiccan pfp" to anyone looking for high-quality profile pictures. Save your money and look elsewhere.
2. Alex - 2 stars - I wasn't impressed with "Wiccan pfp". The concept seemed interesting, but the execution fell flat. The images were too generic and didn't capture the essence of Wicca. Additionally, the lack of variety was disappointing. It felt like there were only a handful of pictures to choose from, making it difficult to find something that truly represented my interests. I would suggest exploring other options for Wiccan-themed profile pictures.
3. Mark - 2 stars - I was underwhelmed by "Wiccan pfp". The images were too simplistic and lacked creativity. Most of them consisted of basic symbols and patterns, which felt uninspired. I was hoping for more unique and expressive artwork that truly incorporated Wiccan symbolism. The limited selection was also a letdown. It felt like more effort could have been put into curating a diverse range of images. Overall, "Wiccan pfp" didn't deliver on its promise of providing captivating profile pictures for Wiccan enthusiasts.
4. Emily - 1 star - "Wiccan pfp" was a huge disappointment. The pictures were low-resolution and looked like they were taken from a quick Google search. It was evident that no effort went into selecting high-quality images. I also found the selection to be repetitive, with multiple variations of the same image. It felt like a lazy attempt to create a comprehensive collection. I would not recommend "Wiccan pfp" to anyone who wants visually appealing and well-curated profile pictures that truly represent the beauty of Wicca.
