How to Make the Most of Your Time on the Stevens Pass Magic Carpet

By admin

Stevens Pass is a popular ski resort located in the Cascade Range of Washington State, about 78 miles northeast of Seattle. It offers a wide range of activities and amenities for winter sports enthusiasts, including several ski and snowboard runs, a terrain park, and a tubing center. One of the highlights of Stevens Pass is its magic carpet, a specially designed conveyor lift that helps beginners and children learn to ski or snowboard. The magic carpet is a flat, moving surface that carries skiers and snowboarders up the gentle slope of the beginner runs. The magic carpet is a great tool for those who are new to skiing or snowboarding, as it eliminates the need to struggle with a traditional chairlift. It is much easier for beginners to get on and off the magic carpet, and it allows them to focus on learning the basics of their chosen winter sport.

We offer all kinds of lesson options from trained, professional coaches. Receiving coaching from a friend or family member isn’t recommended, as even expert skiers and riders likely haven’t been trained to teach. Even our instructors will have another instructor teach their loved ones to allow everyone to get the most out of their day and avoid straining relationships!

Our Teen and Adult Beginner Group Lessons start on snow at 10am and 1pm, with additional and more affordable evening lesson times of 4pm and 6pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and select holiday dates. For Ski Ride School Products that contain multiple lesson days, and a full Cancellation is required, the Cancellation Fee is 50 of the cost of the first lesson.

1. John - 2 stars - I recently visited Stevens Pass and was extremely disappointed with their magic carpet. The lines were incredibly long and they were not efficient at moving people through. It took forever just to get to the top of the mountain. Additionally, the magic carpet was overcrowded and felt unsafe. I would not recommend using it if you're looking for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
2. Sarah - 1 star - My experience with the Stevens Pass magic carpet was terrible. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and there was no organization or clear instructions on how to use the carpet. It was chaos trying to get on and off, and I saw multiple people falling and hurting themselves. The overall atmosphere was stressful and I didn't feel comfortable using the carpet at all. Definitely not worth it.
3. Mike - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the magic carpet at Stevens Pass, but it fell short of my expectations. The carpet itself was slow and continuously stopped, causing a backup and longer wait times. The staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't handle the situation well, leading to frustrated customers. It was a disappointing experience overall and I would not choose to use the magic carpet again.
