Confronting the Ancient Evils in AC Origins: Curse of the Pharaohs

By admin

AC Origins Curse of the Pharaohs is an expansion pack for the action-adventure video game Assassin's Creed Origins. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and was released on March 13, 2018. The expansion takes place four years after the main game's events and introduces a new storyline centered around the afterlife and Egyptian mythology. In Curse of the Pharaohs, players assume the role of Bayek, the main character from the base game, as he travels to the ancient city of Thebes to investigate a curse that has brought the dead pharaohs back to life. This expansion adds a whole new region to explore, called Thebes, which includes iconic landmarks such as the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Karnak. One of the notable features of Curse of the Pharaohs is the introduction of the afterlife realms.

One of the notable features of Curse of the Pharaohs is the introduction of the afterlife realms. These realms are distinct areas separate from the physical world and are home to the resurrected pharaohs. Players can traverse the afterlife by activating portals found in the physical world and embark on quests within these mystical realms.

Reviews for "Ascending to the Afterlife in AC Origins: Curse of the Pharaohs"

1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "AC Origins Curse of the Pharaohs". The storyline felt convoluted and unnatural, and the gameplay was filled with repetitive missions. I found myself getting bored and frustrated with the game very quickly. Additionally, the graphics and animations were not up to par with what I expected from an AC game. Overall, I was left unimpressed and regretted spending my money on this DLC.
2. Alice - 1 star - "AC Origins Curse of the Pharaohs" was a huge letdown for me. The main issue I had was the lack of originality in the game. It felt like a rehash of the base game, with no significant changes or new features. The missions were predictable and the puzzles were uninspired. I had high hopes for this DLC, but unfortunately, it fell flat and felt like a money grab rather than a genuine addition to the AC Origins experience.
3. Michael - 2.5 stars - I had mixed feelings about "AC Origins Curse of the Pharaohs". While the expansion did add some new areas and enemies, the overall execution left me unimpressed. The story felt disjointed and hard to follow, and I didn't feel invested in the outcome. The repetitive nature of the gameplay also made it difficult to stay engaged. However, I did appreciate the effort put into the design of the new areas, which were visually pleasing. Overall, though, the DLC did not live up to my expectations and I would not recommend it to others.
