After doing some online research and asking around, I found out that the closest mascot shop to my location was just a few blocks away. I was relieved to know that I wouldn't have to travel far to find what I needed. When I arrived at the shop, I was impressed by the wide variety of mascot costumes they had available. They had costumes of all different animals, superheroes, and even popular characters from movies and TV shows. It was like a treasure trove for anyone looking to dress up as their favorite character.

The Carnival Fun Fair is a 400-meter-long colorful shopping street filled with a multitude of fun fair games, rides and activities, delicious snacks, and exciting shops and market stalls. It was only until 2022 that the project was brought back to life and finally unveiled to the whole world in the same year after the insistent drive, unwavering determination, and genuine passion of our leaders and crew to see Carnival Magic into fruition.
It was like a treasure trove for anyone looking to dress up as their favorite character. The staff at the shop were friendly and helpful. They offered suggestions and advice to help me find the perfect costume for my event.
Carnival magic thailand
The concept of Carnival Magic was initially envisioned in 2003 when our parent company, Phuket FantaSea, decided to develop a 33-acre plot of land located next to its cultural theme park in Phuket, Thailand.
The idea of Carnival Magic was to create a fantasyland that brings together a one-of-a-kind event of carnivals, parades, and festivals embedded in the deep custom and cultural traditions Thailand is famous for and offer an escapade for our guests of all ages to participate in a wide range of delightful activities in an exhilarating and festive atmosphere that magically turns one's imagination and dreams to life.
Our mission is to provide our local and international visitors with a heightened sense of happiness and jubilation with the most exquisite entertainment and recreational attractions the world has ever seen.
The development of Carnival Magic, however, is not a wondrously paved path filled with roses. The project was halted and restarted 3 times over in 19 years since its envisioning. The construction of the project was interrupted firstly by the Great Asian Tsunami in 2004, followed by the worldwide recession in the late 2000s, and finally the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020. It was only until 2022 that the project was brought back to life and finally unveiled to the whole world in the same year after the insistent drive, unwavering determination, and genuine passion of our leaders and crew to see Carnival Magic into fruition.
Carnival Magic is the largest investment in theme park development in Thailand at over US $150 million. The project has since its creation gone to achieve many of the world's "firsts" such as the world's longest parade float, showcased on a gigantic stage that is over 70 meters long, in a massive 2,200 seat theater that can easily house a few jumbo jets. Other achievements include the world's largest light and sound show, the world's largest LED sculpture, and the world’s tallest popcorn machine, to name a few. The entire park itself is illuminated with 40 million lights in a dazzling display of colors and vibes that offer an extraordinary experience that will surely last a lifetime.
In July 2022, Carnival Magic was awarded its latest Guinness world record, bringing the total to 9 world records that it has amassed under its belt. These achievements have propelled it to become Thailand's most awarded company by the Guinness World Record Organization.
Carnival Magic aspires to be a trailblazer in our field. We are fully committed to bringing the most unique, fun, and interesting facet of Thai culture to the world and will continue to set the standard for the highest level of theme park entertainment and service quality in the region.

Thailand is an enchantment, a place where the heavens conspired to bless the land with great natural beauty and abundance. Growing up in the Kingdom as a young child was a magical experience. I was constantly being dazzled by the astonishing variety of festivals, temple fairs and bustling marketplaces that were filled with a carnival atmosphere of good-natured fun and fellowship. Smiles were found everywhere and happiness was reflected in the faces of people truly enjoying the benefits of belonging to such a rich and unified cultural heritage, most especially evident in the flamboyant costumes, songs and dances that were always such an important part of any gathering.
From the pomp and pageantry of the Royal Barge Procession on the Chao Phraya river, or the famous Flower processions in the Northern provinces and the Candle Procession in the Northeast to the famous Loy Kratong festival taking place in all bodies of water throughout the Kingdom, Thailand was, as it still is, a magical place to me, filled with mystery, magic and exciting mythology.
Carnival Magic was inspired by the glorious sights, sounds and colors of my beloved homeland and we have endeavored to reflect the heart and soul and spirit of the land and its people in one joyous experience that combines the best of what Thailand means to me, and to all of us who share in the magic..
Carnival Magic is a childhood dream to recapture the true meaning of being Thai, by bringing smiles to the faces, joy to the hearts, and Happiness to Light.

I had a terrible experience at the Closest Mascot Shop. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I was looking for a specific mascot costume and the employee just laughed at me and said they didn't have it. The selection was also extremely limited, with only a few basic options available. Overall, I was highly disappointed with my visit and I won't be returning.
