Even in her final moments, Cassandra continued to bear the weight of her curse. After the fall of Troy, she was taken as a prize by Agamemnon, the Greek king she had predicted would die. In his palace, she foretold her own murder at the hands of Agamemnon's wife, Clytemnestra. Again, her prophecy went unnoticed, and she was killed alongside her captor. The Curse of Cassandra serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of dismissing the wisdom and insight of others.
