The Official Seal of Arms of General Sam Houston, as handed down to him from noble ancestors. The simple Escutcheon in the center of the seal consists of checkered chevrons denoting nobility, and three Martlets, gentle Lowland birds symbolizing peace and deliverance. An oil field warning siren was suggested, and by 1991, through a number of refinements by the efforts of the H Association, the Taxi Squad, Pleas Doyle and the Hruska family, the purchase of the siren was complete. The University of Houston was founded in 1927. In its first year, the university’s enrollment was 232 students, with just 12 faculty. The university has grown to become one of state’s greatest assets. Our campus now has more than 40,000 of the finest students, faculty, and staff in the country, its own award-winning art museum, stunning music and theatre venues, 264,000-square-foot fitness facility, massive modern library, two fine dining restaurants, and winning athletics programs.
Our campus is home to several nationally ranked top-five programs including Creative Writing, Health Law, and Intellectual Property Law. UH also is home to the world’s only graduate space architecture program.

UH has a long tradition of community service. Located on the University of Houston campus is a very special monument. It is the Eternal Flame of Service monument was erected by the Student Service Center to recognize every organization and individual on and around the UH campus who works to serve others. It is a gift from the UH Alpha Phi Omega chapter to the university in 1970. The tradition of service to others is alive and well on the UH Campus with students volunteering more than 1 million hours annually in Houston area communities.

1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Montaineer magic beard balm. First of all, the scent was way too overpowering for my liking. I could smell it from miles away and it gave me a headache. Secondly, the balm did not do much to tame or soften my beard. It felt like I was just applying regular lotion to my face. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality beard balm.
2. Emily - 1 star - This beard balm was a complete waste of money. It claims to be magic, but it did absolutely nothing for my husband's unruly beard. Not only did it not provide any hold or taming effect, but it also left his skin feeling greasy and uncomfortable. The scent was unpleasant and lingered for hours, causing both of us to constantly smell it. We were highly disappointed and will not be purchasing this product again.
3. David - 2 stars - I have tried several different beard balms, and Montaineer magic beard balm is by far the worst. The consistency is really heavy and sticky, making it difficult to evenly distribute throughout the beard. It also leaves a residue that makes the beard look greasy and messy. Additionally, the scent was too strong and artificial, which was quite off-putting. I would suggest looking for another beard balm option that actually delivers on its promises.
4. Samantha - 2 stars - I was not impressed with the Montaineer magic beard balm. The texture was too waxy and hard, making it difficult to scoop out of the container. It didn't melt properly in my hands and left clumps in my beard. On top of that, it didn't provide any notable benefits for my beard. It didn't soften or moisturize it as promised, and it certainly didn't make it magically more manageable. I won't be repurchasing this product in the future.
5. Michael - 3 stars - I had high hopes for the Montaineer magic beard balm, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. While it did help to style my beard slightly, it didn't provide the hold or control that I was looking for. The scent was okay, but it didn't last long and faded quickly. Overall, it was just an average beard balm, nothing magical about it. I will be trying other brands for better results.
