Bottom Line: I Can’t Find One of These in The Hudson Valley

It was around this time last year that I heard about this thing called a Witch Window. It is simply an oddly aligned window on a house, usually on the second floor, tucked between two roof lines.

I had heard that they are mostly in Vermont. I thought that couldn't be right, we must have one or two in the Hudson Valley. So I set out to find one. Fast forward from October 2022 to October 2023 and I am still on the hunt!

Are Houses in New York Built with Witch Windows?

It would appear that there are no Witch Windows in New York. I find that so odd, especially when you hear how they came about in the first place. Allow me to back up for a moment.

A witch window is a window that is placed on a diagonal. Apparently, it is actually on a 45-degree angle. They are found all over Vermont and rarely anywhere else in the United States. They got their name because it was believed that Witches couldn't fly through them because they were placed at an angle.

It is a little bit of a chicken and an egg thing. Were the houses built with slanted windows to keep witches out or reportedly to keep some witches in? Or were they added after the fact when it was believed witches were in the area?

Turns out neither is true. After some investigation, I discovered that Witch Windows are usually much newer than the house in which they were built. It is more likely that an addition was built onto an old house. The new piece of the house most likely blocked and existing window so as not to lose air and light they just moved the window. It is on an angle because they need it to fit into the space under the roof line.

With regular use, it helps to restore the hair's natural elasticity, making it more resistant to damage and reducing the occurrence of split ends. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with chemically treated hair, as it helps to prolong the lifespan of the treatment and maintain the hair's strength and integrity. Furthermore, Blue Magic Conditioner is known for its detangling properties. It smooths out the hair cuticle, making it easier to comb through and reducing the risk of hair breakage and tangling. This is especially beneficial for individuals with coarser hair textures or those who frequently style their hair, as it helps to minimize damage caused by excessive brushing or pulling. In terms of application, Blue Magic Conditioner can be used both as a regular conditioner and as a leave-in conditioner. For regular conditioning, it is applied to clean, damp hair after shampooing, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. It is then left on for a few minutes before rinsing out thoroughly. For leave-in conditioning, a small amount of the product is applied to damp hair and left in, providing ongoing moisture and protection throughout the day. Overall, Blue Magic Conditioner is a versatile and effective hair care product that offers numerous benefits. Whether you are looking to moisturize, strengthen, or detangle your hair, this conditioner is sure to deliver results. Its deep conditioning formula and natural oil blend make it a popular choice among individuals seeking to improve the health and appearance of their hair..

Reviews for "How Blue Magic Conditioner Nourishes and Hydrates Hair"

1. Mark - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the Blue Magic Conditioner. It claimed to be extra moisturizing and great for dry hair, but it did nothing for my hair. If anything, it made my hair feel even drier and more brittle. I also didn't like the scent, it was way too strong and overpowering. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this conditioner at all.
2. Sarah - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Blue Magic Conditioner, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. While it did provide some moisture, I found that it left a heavy residue on my hair. Even after thoroughly rinsing, my hair felt weighed down and looked greasy. Additionally, the packaging was not user-friendly at all. The cap was difficult to open and close, which was quite frustrating. I won't be repurchasing this conditioner.
3. Lisa - 1 star - I had a terrible experience with the Blue Magic Conditioner. Not only did it not moisturize my hair as promised, but it also caused my scalp to become itchy and irritated. I tried using it multiple times, hoping it would improve, but it only made my scalp worse. It also didn't provide any detangling benefits, and I had a hard time combing through my hair after using this conditioner. Needless to say, I won't be using this product again.
4. Brian - 2 stars - The Blue Magic Conditioner did not work well for my hair type. It claims to be suitable for all hair types, but I found that it left my fine hair feeling heavy and weighed down. It also didn't provide enough moisture and left my hair looking dull and lifeless. The scent was overpowering and gave me a headache. I would recommend looking for other options if you have fine hair or are sensitive to strong scents.
