I ve cruised in both balcony and ocean view staterooms, and while I prefer the balcony rooms because of the time I can spend outside of the room without actually leaving the room, if you don t smoke and have smokers close to you, you won t spend much time out there anyway. With very limited space on the ship, most room is reserved for all the fun activities and dining while cruising, leaving limited room for staterooms.
