The Curse of Lizzie Borden: Next Shock Docs Revealed

In 2006 a low-budget horror movie called The Curse of Lizzie Borden was released. Even though it was awful, it was followed up two years later with a sequel, The Curse of Lizzie Borden 2: Prom Night. Because, naturally, a prom-themed horror movie was the only thing that could follow, right? (That’s a rhetorical question. There’s only one answer to that and it’s the opposite of “yes.”)

Well, the next installment in the Shock Docs series shares the same name as the 2006 and 2008 horror movies, unfortunately.

Except, instead of being about a girl who gets a job in the Lizzie Borden Museum and then goes on a killing rampage, Shock Docs: The Curse of Lizzie Borden attempts to resolve any negative energy that may still be lingering in, and on the grounds of, one of the most infamous murder houses in America.

One of Blaine's most famous street magic tricks was the levitation trick. He would ask a random person to hold their hands to support him, and then seemingly float a few inches off the ground. It was like he wasn't even trying to be convincing. The audience reactions seemed fake and forced, which made the whole performance feel staged. Overall, it was far from being mind-blowing and I regret spending my money on this show.

2. Mike - 2/5 stars - I had high hopes for "David Blaje Street Magic" but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The tricks were okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. I've seen similar street magicians perform much more impressive acts. It felt like Blaje was more focused on getting reactions from the crowds than on delivering original and awe-inspiring illusions. I wouldn't necessarily say it was a waste of time, but it definitely wasn't worth the ticket price.

3. Emily - 2/5 stars - "David Blaje Street Magic" was underwhelming to say the least. The tricks were nothing new and lacked any real innovation. I felt like I had seen them all before on various street magic shows and YouTube videos. Blaje's style also didn't resonate with me, as he came across as arrogant rather than charismatic. The lackluster performance left me wishing I had chosen a different show to spend my evening on. Overall, it was a forgettable experience.

4. Jonathan - 1/5 stars - I was highly disappointed with "David Blaje Street Magic". The tricks were amateurish and poorly executed. It was evident that the magician was relying heavily on gimmicks and props to create illusions, which made it feel more like a children's birthday party show than a professional performance.
