The Witch's Craft: Inside the Diary of Magick

By admin

Dear Diary, Today has been yet another eventful day in the life of a witch. It seems like the world around me is becoming increasingly aware of our existence, and not always in the most positive way. As I sit in my cozy cottage by the edge of the forest, surrounded by my magical herbs and potions, I can't help but reflect on the challenges and joys that come with being a witch. Being a witch is like straddling two different worlds - the magical realm and the ordinary world. On one hand, I am blessed with extraordinary powers and a deep connection with nature. I can harness the energy around me and use it to create spells, heal the sick, or protect the innocent.

But with the Halloween Ball on the horizon, will she be able to master her wand skills in time to WOW? And more importantly can she keep her newfound magical abilities a secret from dad?

The lessons are not quite as straight forward as they appear though and matters are made even more complicated when she is handed her very own magic wand. The topic when they talk about relationship with others are usually interesting like I learn something new each time I encounter them, it is surprisingly realistic and can be applied in real life.

I can harness the energy around me and use it to create spells, heal the sick, or protect the innocent. But on the other hand, I must hide my true identity from the outside world, for fear of persecution and misunderstandings. It is remarkable how the perception of witches has evolved throughout history.

The Newlywed Life of a Witch and a Dragon Discussion

Underrated series that I think deserve to be discussed here. Holy shit I finished the newest chapter and what a roller coaster it is.

I want to know what you guys thinking about this manhwa. The premise is interesting, a woman loved by a dragon to the point that the dragon decided to tricked her into a vow where it makes her practically not human anymore. I have a mixed feeling about their relationship at first and I personally can tolerate noncon to some extend but this one irks me. Maybe because Aiden the ML can be such a manipulative being to the point FL needs a vow of no lying no hiding bs to convince him? Also the realization on chapter 37 when she said that she is turning into a doormat is very interesting, rare that I see FL realizing it herself.

I want to note that some people on webtoon agrees that their relationship is toxic, how true this statement really is? For some time, I have seen both of them trying to built their relationship. They also try to communicate more clearly. Dont forget that eventhought our Wendy is 28, our little dragon Aiden, doesnt even reach 20 in the eyes of the dragon so yeah. Add it up to his character being so full of himself, he still have a lot to learn.

Also bruh, 2nd prince is so creepy wtf. You choose to forsaken her and married another woman for power yet YOU CANT MOVE ON. Like damn dude why, he giving me Hyacinth vibe fr.

Aside from all of the flaws, Im still enjoying reading this somehow. The world building its pretty neat tbh. The topic when they talk about relationship with others are usually interesting like I learn something new each time I encounter them, it is surprisingly realistic and can be applied in real life. For example, when one of her subordinate talk about how unfair Cain treat Wendy by saying something like Cain didnt tried to put Wendy first while he doesnt want her to let him go and whenever her love would die, he gives live to it again preventing it to die but not to grow with the picture of rose being given water, its just perfect and I love it. Your usual trope of FL falling for ML fully just because ML force himself into FL's life doesnt fully worked in this series. I too want to see how far Aiden and Wendy the FL will advanced to since both of them are not normal now. I hope for the best for the both of them. Despite whatever happens, they both deserve it.

1 last sentence for this manhwa is "gotta catch them all" 😉.

“A magical and romantic page-turner…. Witches of East End is certain to attract new adult readers…The pacing is masterful, and while the witchcraft is entertaining, it’s ultimately a love triangle that makes the story compelling. De la Cruz has created a family of empathetic women who are both magically gifted and humanly flawed.”
Diry of a witch

Once revered as wise healers and protectors of communities, we are now often portrayed as evil beings, casting curses and bringing harm. Movies and books have fueled these misconceptions, making it increasingly difficult for witches like me to live a normal life. Yet, despite all the challenges, being a witch is a truly empowering experience. The ability to tap into the unseen energies of the universe and channel them for good is a gift that I cherish. It allows me to help others, to make a difference in their lives, and to bring harmony to the world. But it's not all about magic and spells. Like any other person, I have my ups and downs, my hopes and fears. I have dreams and aspirations that go beyond my magical abilities. I long for love and companionship, for a sense of belonging in a world that often rejects and fears me. Keeping my identity secret is both a necessity and a burden. It means living in isolation, always on guard, never fully able to be myself. But it also holds a sense of mystery and excitement, knowing that behind my ordinary exterior lies a world of wonders. As I close my diary for the day, I feel a mix of emotions. I am proud to be a witch, to embrace the magic that flows within me. But I also long for a world where witches are accepted and understood. A world where I can freely share my gifts and knowledge without fear of persecution. Until that day comes, I will continue to live my life as a witch - casting spells, brewing potions, and spreading love and light wherever I go. And I will continue to write in this diary, as a reminder of the joys and challenges of being a witch in a world that is still learning to accept us. Yours magically, [Your Name].

Reviews for "Journey into the Unknown: A Witch's Diary Unveiled"

1. Sarah - 2 stars - Diary of a Witch was a major disappointment for me. The plot was confusing and lacking in depth, making it difficult to connect with the characters. The writing style was also quite amateurish, with awkward sentence structures and repetitive descriptions. I found myself skimming through the pages, hoping it would get better, but unfortunately, it never did. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for a compelling and well-written witch story.
2. Mark - 1 star - I couldn't finish Diary of a Witch. The main character was extremely unlikable and the story felt cliché and predictable. The writing was subpar, with numerous grammar and punctuation errors that were distracting. The magic system in the book also felt poorly developed and inconsistent. I was hoping for an engaging witch tale, but I was left feeling uninspired and uninterested. I wouldn't waste my time with this book again.
3. Emily - 2 stars - Diary of a Witch had an intriguing premise, but it failed to deliver. The pacing was incredibly slow, and the plot lacked excitement. The characters were one-dimensional and their actions didn't always make sense. I also found the book to be overly descriptive, with excessive details that didn't contribute much to the overall story. It felt like a chore to read, and I was glad when it was finally over. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for an engaging and captivating witch-themed story.
