About Us

Yes we are. Although the Herbal Magic weight loss centres closed in 2015 and 2016, Herbal Magic weight loss plans and supplements have remained available to Canadians coast to coast through our national coaching centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

You can expect to lose an average of one to two pounds per week on the Herbal Magic weight loss program. That can vary depending on your age, history, body composition, fitness level, and your overall motivation. Our coaches factor in all these elements in designing a personalized program for you.

You are welcome to visit us here in Mississauga or in the remaining two Herbal Magic locations in Burlington, ON and Stettler, AB. However, we no longer operate retail locations around the country. All our Programs are conveniently provided over the phone with your dedicated Personal Health Coach. Your personalized meal plans are sent via email and we deliver your Program supplements via Canada Post with free shipping. Herbal Magic personalizes each program to the individual needs. Total investment is a maximum of $298.00 per month and a minimum of $278.00 per month (for longer term programs). The monthly price includes unlimited coaching, tailored meal planning, and all of the Core products, which are also tailored to the health of each client.

Yes, Natural Health Products (NHPs) work at delivering health benefits. Most ingredients used in NHPs have been studied scientifically and the ones that haven’t have a long history (thousands of years!) of use in traditional medicine. On top of this, before any health benefits can be listed on product labels, Health Canada must first review the evidence associated with the product combination and approve the claims.

Herbal Magic products do not contain any controversial ingredients like ephedrine or sibutramine. In order to be sold in Canada, Natural Health Products (NHPs) require licenses (NPNs) issued by Health Canada.

I’ve heard reports about certain ingredients, such as fish oils, spoiling or being full of fillers. How can I be sure these products aren’t like that?

All of our products are made using high-quality ingredients and have been third-party tested to ensure this. They only contain ingredients found to be safe and effective by Health Canada. Further, before any of our products are released for sale, our manufacturers’ testing documents are thoroughly reviewed and approved in house.

No! We offer real food, for real people, living real lives. You don’t need to buy special food on the Herbal Magic program. We’re not selling processed or frozen meals.

This seems like a lot of supplements. Are you sure it’s ok for me to take all these together? Should I be concerned about overdosing or getting too much of any ingredients?

Our product line has been curated to ensure that you get the support you need, while staying in the appropriate dosage ranges for each ingredient and preventing negative ingredient interactions. Our products each act in a different way to help you achieve your goals. Please be sure to let your PHC know if you are taking any NHPs that aren’t made by Herbal Magic so that they can let you know if it is safe for you to continue to take those on top of your Herbal Magic products, or if it is best that you discontinue those products while you are on Program. To ensure your safety, no additional non-Herbal Magic NHPs should be taken while on Program unless this is specifically advised by your doctor or health care practitioner.

I’ve never heard of some of these ingredients. Where can I find more information about them and what they do?

Detailed information on each of the ingredients in Herbal Magic products can be found on our Product Monographs. Please ask your PHC for a monograph if you would like to learn more about our products and ingredients.

As per Health Canada regulations, each ingredient in NHPs must be clearly listed on product labels. Canadian NHP labels cannot use vague terms like “blend” without also listing each ingredient individually as well. Every consumer can know exactly what is in each product by reading product labels. Ingredients in licensed NHPs are definitely safe. In order for products to receive licenses in the form of NPNs, companies must submit evidence to Health Canada proving that each ingredient is safe at the products’ recommended daily dosage.

At Herbal Magic, our number one concern is your safety. Your medications will be cross-referenced in our proprietary Medication Cross-Reference System to ensure that you are only recommended Natural Health Products that are safe to take along with your medications.

I have a number of health conditions including high blood pressure and heart disease. Is Herbal Magic right for me?

At Herbal Magic, diabetics are welcome to follow our programs and eat real food. When you lose weight, you can improve your blood pressure, blood sugars, and overall cholesterol and lower your risk for heart disease. Some type 2 diabetes sufferers are even able to come off insulin and diabetes pills once they lose weight. Like any other weight loss program, you should always talk to your health care provider before starting.

Herbal Magic provides a safe, effective way for you to shed some of that excess baby weight while you are breastfeeding. We’ve developed a breastfeeding program to make sure nursing mothers and their babies are getting all of the nutrients they need while moms lose weight. What are the different types of body contouring?

Nonsurgical body contouring is called lipolysis. There are several lipolysis methods:

• Cryolipolysis uses very cold temperatures to destroy fat cells (for example, CoolSculpting®).
