Ilvermorny Magical Arts and Sciences School is a prestigious institution of wizardry located in the United States. Founded in the 17th century by Isolt Sayre and James Steward, it has since become one of the foremost schools for magical education. The school follows a similar structure to Hogwarts, with four houses that students are sorted into based on their attributes and abilities. The houses are Horned Serpent, representing scholars and intellectuals; Wampus, representing warriors and adventurers; Thunderbird, representing soul-speakers and adventurers; and Pukwudgie, representing healers and mystics. The curriculum at Ilvermorny covers a wide range of subjects, including Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and more. The school is dedicated to providing a well-rounded education, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

I didn’t find a granite castle atop the summit of Mt. Greylock. Instead, I found a spectacular view, a granite memorial tower that was currently closed for renovations, and a friendly lodge serving dinner.

So when I flew across the country, from California to Massachusetts, to conduct some business for the company I work for, I knew I had to take an afternoon off and check out the summit of Mount Greylock, the supposed location of Ilvermorny, the magical American school modeled after Hogwarts. Durmstrang has the darkest reputation of the schools, having fallen twice under the leadership of dark wizards and produced at least one infamous pupil.

I had high hopes for Ilvermorny, being a huge fan of the Harry Potter series. However, I was greatly disappointed with the magical arts and sciences school. The teaching methods were outdated and ineffective. I expected a more innovative approach to education, but instead, it seemed like the professors were stuck in the past. The curriculum was also lacking and didn't provide a well-rounded education. Overall, I would not recommend Ilvermorny to anyone seeking a quality magical education.

I was not impressed with Ilvermorny magical arts and sciences school. The administration seemed disorganized and unresponsive to student needs. The class sizes were too large, making it difficult to receive personalized attention from professors. Additionally, the curriculum was too focused on theory and lacked practical application. I was hoping for a more hands-on experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Overall, I couldn't help but feel that Ilvermorny fell short of its reputation and was not worth the time and effort.

Ilvermorny magical arts and sciences school was a major letdown for me. The atmosphere was dull and lacked the enchantment and magic I expected. The campus facilities were outdated and in need of renovation. The extracurricular activities were limited, leaving me with little to do in my free time. The overall lack of diversity among students and staff was also disappointing. I was expecting a more inclusive and vibrant community. In my opinion, Ilvermorny does not live up to its reputation as a prestigious magical school.
