1. Jack - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Magic Tree House 9". The storyline felt repetitive and predictable, with the same formula of Jack and Annie finding a magical object and using it to solve a problem. The characters lacked depth and development, making it difficult to really connect with them. Overall, I found the book to be lackluster and not as engaging as previous installments in the series.
2. Lisa - 3 stars - While I am a fan of the "Magic Tree House" series, I found book 9 to be underwhelming. The plot felt rushed and the adventures Jack and Annie went on didn't have the same level of excitement and imagination as previous books. Additionally, I found the writing to be overly simplistic, making it feel more suited for a younger audience. Overall, it didn't live up to my expectations and I was left feeling unsatisfied.
3. Mike - 2 stars - "Magic Tree House 9" was a letdown for me. The story lacked originality and creativity, feeling like a rehash of previous books in the series.
