Teens slug woman in face in carjacking outside Maple Heights beauty supply shop
MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Maple Heights police are searching for two teens who punched a woman in the face and knocked her to the ground before stealing her car.
The carjacking happened just before noon Thursday outside of Magic Hair & Beauty on Lee Road near Libby Road, Maple Heights police said.
The 44-year-old woman finished shopping at the store when she noticed the two unidentified teens in front of her car.
They demanded the car, punched her in the face, pushed her to the ground and threatened to shoot her with a gun, police said. The woman did not see a gun.
The two drove away in her white Nissan.
Paramedics treated the woman for minor injuries at the scene.
Cleveland police found the car abandoned Saturday, but no arrests were made in the case.
