A good example, I suppose, of how something without a mean bone in its body can still be offensive, and in Pagan Love Song we have maybe the most genially colonialist movie ever made, to the point of being distracting even to someone fairly inured to this and who makes a point of not viewing movies through an exclusively political lens.
