The Eclectic Witch: Blending Tradition and Personal Spiritual Pathways

By admin

Eclectic witchcraft is a modern approach to witchcraft that draws inspiration and practices from various magical traditions, cultures, and belief systems. It is a highly personal and individualistic form of witchcraft, as practitioners have the freedom to develop their own unique spiritual path by incorporating elements from different sources. The term "eclectic" in this context refers to the diverse and inclusive nature of this practice. Eclectic witches do not adhere to any specific set of rules or doctrines, but instead, they cherry-pick and combine different techniques, rituals, and philosophies that resonate with them. An eclectic witch may incorporate elements from different magical traditions such as Wicca, ceremonial magic, folk magic, shamanism, and even elements from non-European or indigenous spiritual practices. They may use herbs, crystals, divination tools, and symbols from various cultures to enhance their rituals and spellwork.

There are a few rules to this:

Some people include the element Spirit when we re talking about these four, but Spirit is not a physical element so we won t be working with it for now. Once you can confidently call down and send away different sorts of energy, practice drawing down larger amounts, then sending them in to objects to charge them.

Channeling the witchy energy

They may use herbs, crystals, divination tools, and symbols from various cultures to enhance their rituals and spellwork. One of the core principles of eclectic witchcraft is the belief in the power of individual intuition and personal experience. Eclectic witches rely on their own instincts and inner guidance when it comes to making decisions and crafting rituals.

Questions regarding energy channelling/ manipulation

Hello everyone, this is going to be a bit of a read so I appreciate everyone who reads though and helps me. I'm a baby witch.

First I'll tell you what I can do. So since energy is the most basic part or spell work, I started to learn how to manipulate and channel energy. What I do is I raise my hands and keep them at a distance, almost as if I'm holding a basketball, Then I put on music in my earphones (the vibration raising ones from YT) and I meditate, first I visualise myself in a room full of white light (energy) I take that energy within my body with every inhale and release negativity and doubt with every exhale, once I think it's enough I condense this white light into a ball/ flame in the middle of my tummy. Then I visualise this ball/flame travelling through my body into my hands and then into my palms, and in about a minute I start to feel a tingly sensation in my palms, then o visualise this energy forming itself into a ball shape in between my palms, and it growing and becoming denser and more stable, while doing this I also chant affirmations, say words of intent, and imagine scenarios (some of which have already occured) all pertaining to what I wish to manifest. In about 5 minutes I form a strong and stable ,basketball sized ball of energy in my palms which I can clearly feel , I lift this ball up to my face and blow it away into the universes sort of how you do to a flying kiss, and I feel it flowing out of my palms.

So now since I can FEEL this happening I KNOW it's happening.

The problem is that I can't find a way to channel my energy into an object, a sigil, a spell or whatever. I've tried holding the sigil/object/ ingredient of spell in between my palms, and I have also tried to gather up energy first using the above method and then putting that into the object, but I'm not sure if it works because I can't really feel it happening?

So my question is , how do I put my energy and my intent into a spell or an Ingredient of a spell, or a sigil, or an object or whatever ?

Thanks for reading and helping me, I appreciate it a ton.
