Wicca and Satanism are two distinct belief systems that are often misunderstood and confused with one another. Although both fall under the umbrella of modern Paganism, they have different ideologies, practices, and views on morality. Wicca is a nature-based religion that worships a goddess and a god, often referred to as the Triple Goddess and the Horned God. Wiccans believe in the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of living in harmony with nature. They also follow the Wiccan Rede, which states, "An it harm none, do what ye will" – emphasizing the rule of personal responsibility and avoiding harm to oneself or others. Wiccans celebrate various holidays, known as Sabbats, and practice rituals that involve spellcasting, divination, and the use of herbs and crystals.
