MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE WITCH FROM MERCURY

Nice to meet you. This is Shiyui, and I’m going to make a major debut with “Kimiyo Kedakakuare” which to be released on November 9th.
As this is an original piece written and composed by Mr. ryo of supercell, I’m deeply involved with it. I was inspired by supercell’s musical works when I decided to pursue the career of a singer. Since then I’ve been influenced by the world of Mr. ryo’s creations.
Then it’s an undeserved honor to me that Mr. ryo has endowed me with my debut song and that it’s being used as the ending theme of “Mobile Suit Gundam: the Witch from Mercury.”
Believing the lyrics would inspire and encourage the listeners, I tried to convey every single implication of the words when I sang the song. I hope this piece is going to reach the hearts of as many people as possible. Thank you so much for your attention.

ryo(supercell)

I’m ryo of supercell. I just took on producing and creating the song for Ms. Shiyui.
When I heard her singing for the first time, I found her voice was so natural and free from anything. I thought she was gifted with a rainbow-colored voice.
And, at the moment when I had a chance to read the story of “the Witch from Mercury”, the latest Gundam series, this musical piece came to my mind.
I produced and created this song with all my strength and all my heart so that it could express the current state of Gundam, the franchise that has been through several different eras. I’m a big fan of the Gundam series, too.
I’m really grateful for this opportunity of working on this project.
And I hope this piece will be enjoyed by as many people as possible.
Lastly, I would like to dedicate this musical work to Mr. Keiichi Sotomura of Sony Music, my great mentor who taught me many things at the time of my debut and who also was a huge fan of Gundam.

Reviews for "The Witch from Mercyry ending song: a journey through darkness and despair."

- John - 2 stars - I really didn't like the ending song for "Witch from Mercyry." It felt too upbeat and didn't match the tone of the show at all. The lyrics were also quite generic and didn't add much to the overall experience. I was expecting something more haunting and mysterious, but instead got a pop song that felt out of place.
- Sarah - 1 star - The ending song for "Witch from Mercyry" was a major disappointment for me. It completely took me out of the atmosphere that the show had built. The vocals were overly high-pitched and annoying, and the melody was forgettable. It felt like a cheap attempt to appeal to a younger audience rather than staying true to the overall tone of the series. I would definitely skip this one if I were you.

The lyrics were also very simplistic and lacked depth. Overall, it was a disappointing ending song that didn't live up to the potential of the show. - Emily - 2.5 stars - While the ending song for "Witch from Mercyry" wasn't terrible, it didn't leave a lasting impression either. It was just average and didn't really add anything to the overall experience of the show. The vocals were fine, but there was nothing unique or standout about the song. It felt like a missed opportunity to end the series on a high note.
