Witch Strike Trees: Hauntingly Beautiful Guardians

By admin

The Witch Strike Tree is a prominent feature in folklore and legends, often associated with the practice of witchcraft. This tree is believed to possess supernatural powers and can be used by witches to cast spells, bring curses, or make potions. It is a concept derived from ancient European folklore, where witches were often depicted as having a strong connection to nature and the elements. The Witch Strike Tree is said to have distinct characteristics that set it apart from regular trees. It is often described as having twisted branches, gnarled roots, and a peculiar shape that gives it an ominous appearance. The tree's bark is said to be dark and rough, while its leaves may have a strange color or pattern.

”Why are all of your crowns priced differently?”
Due to the handcrafted nature of these Woodland Crowns, each one takes on a life of its own, and the prices reflect how much time and materials each one has taken me to create.

That being said, please avoid wearing it in excessive rain, or leaving it in a hot car and forgetting it the heat could re-work the glue occasionally , and it s probably best to keep this away from your favorite canine or feline companions. It seems pretty clear to me that the book s popularity is based in its accessibility, and the sensationalistic anecdotes that its authors Heinrich Kramer and Jacob Sprenger probably more the former than the latter include, among them oft-cited passages about witches stealing men s virile members and hiding them in nests nestled in the branches of trees.

The tree's bark is said to be dark and rough, while its leaves may have a strange color or pattern. Some tales even mention that the Witch Strike Tree emits an eerie glow during the night. According to folklore, witches would gather around these trees, especially during the night of a full moon or on special occasions like the summer solstice.

Woodland Crown - Wood Witch

Other-worldly, captivating, feminine, and super light to wear.

Beautifully and carefully hand crafted, “Wood Witch” is constructed in shades of late summer with realistic (faux) deer antlers. This Crown looks like something that would belong to a queen of the Fae gathering sprigs of late summer blooms and cotton buds for a special woodland occasion.
She is very light and comfortable to wear, and can be worn for hours at festivals comfortably. You will be sure to turn heads in this striking crown.

The horns and foliage are adhered very securely to a fleece band and is fastened with a long cord at the nape of your neck. Foliage is faux, so will last for years and years to come.

This crown was designed with adults in mind, but children are able to wear my crowns as well.

Care instructions:
These are more durable than one would think, and the horns wont break, or fall off of the crown with usual wear.
That being said, please avoid wearing it in excessive rain, or leaving it in a hot car and forgetting it (the heat could“re-work” the glue occasionally), and it’s probably best to keep this away from your favorite canine or feline companions. The horns and feathers could be very tempting. ;-)

The association seems to be strongest in the folklore associated with Italian witchcraft. In Benevento, the “City of Witches” (occasionally referenced as the “Italian Salem”), witches from all over the world were said to gather annually under a storied walnut tree–a tree that was definitely fruitful. It’s an age-old, deeply-rooted story whose origins seem impossible to trace (at least for a short blog post), but the streghe under the walnut tree have certainly inspired a variety of cultural expressions and commodities, from works of art to musical compositions to the famous Strega digestif, manufactured right in Benevento since 1860.
Witch strike tree

Legend has it that witches would perform rituals and cast spells under the canopy of the Witch Strike Tree, harnessing its mystical energy. It was believed that being near this tree during these moments would bring bad luck or curses to unsuspecting individuals. The Witch Strike Tree also played a role in traditional herbal medicine and witchcraft practices. It was said that certain plants or herbs growing near these trees held increased potency and were often used in potions or spells. Witches would gather these ingredients, believing that they were imbued with the tree's magical properties, thus enhancing their effectiveness. Like many elements of folklore, the Witch Strike Tree's existence cannot be proven scientifically. However, its legend continues to be passed down through generations, adding depth to the mystique surrounding witchcraft and the supernatural. Whether one believes in its existence or not, the concept of the Witch Strike Tree remains a fascinating and enduring aspect of folklore and the human fascination with the unknown..
