An Introduction to Witchcraft Herbs and Their Meanings in Spellcasting

By admin

Witchcraft refers to the practice of magic or sorcery, often associated with witchcraft spells and rituals. One common aspect of witchcraft is the use of herbs, which are believed to have different meanings and properties. These herbs can be used in various ways, such as in potions, teas, or as ingredients in spells or rituals. Some commonly used witchcraft herbs and their meanings include: 1. Rosemary: symbolizes protection, love, and purification. It is often used in spells or rituals to ward off negative energy or evil spirits.

Immortal

An Immortal is a sentient creature (usually human) who has, through some means, managed to become incapable of death. They are not necessarily ageless, but tend to retain their normal forms. Undead or creatures who inherently cannot be killed (such as elementals) are not classed among their number.

The only known examples of such beings are the Immortal Hero Tarnum and Grand Vizier Gavin Magnus, the Immortal King of the nation of Bracada. Tarnum obtained his immortality from the influence of The Ancestors, while it is believed Magnus' stems from a spell. [1]

If fatally wounded, an Immortal recovers extremely swiftly, their injuries quickly healing. [2] [3] When a long-lived Immortal is cut off from the influence that grants them their inability to die, they begin to age rapidly, as if making up for lost time; however, they can be restored if the influence returns. [4] In both cases, their bodies normally revert to the state they were in when they first attained their power.

It is often used in spells or rituals to ward off negative energy or evil spirits. 2. Lavender: represents peace, relaxation, and healing.

Immortal

The existence of spells like Enral's Eternal Youth Spell by the World's wizards has created a class of immortal. Most of these individuals are powerful wizards, so enchanted by their own magic. A few, however, are individuals like Valder the Innkeeper, Karanissa of the Mountains, Esmera, or Gresh, who through their various involvements have been able granted immortality and youth. Irith the Flyer is another non-wizard immortal, though she gained her immortality through her own, now forsaken, wizardry. By far the largest collection of these immortals is the Inner Circle of the Wizards' Guild and the oldest known immortal is Fendel the Great.

While other races are effectively immortal, such as the Spriggans, or, like dragons so long lived as to be considered so by most people, these immortals were, and remain in most ways, human. The vast majority of immortals are still subject to death, being killed in virtually any way a normal individual might- they simply will not die of old age. A few, like Valder the Innkeeper, have additional enchantments which make them essentially impossible to slay.
