Another impact made! Today I was opportune to speak alongside the leaders(dean, HODs) of my faculty and some great minds at SEEES ORIENTATION/CONFERENCE. I spoke on how to attain academic success while combining academics effectively with business. The moment I climbed the stage, I took the audience (year one students) through an affirmative session with these words: I will dream about the life I want! I don't care whether it is too big or small If others can do it, I can do it If others haven't done it, I will do it I will put in the work and get it done! So help me God! This is very important, because using myself as an example; a fellow discouraged me on engaging into serious business. In his words: "Makuo if you want to get First class then forget about business." Imagine if I had heed to his advice, there wouldn't be a Brandmedic today. So I told them to never take advice from someone who haven't dared what they are trying to do. . . . The truth is that, if people cannot achieve something, they try to paint a picture that it is impossible to achieve, so as to justify their failure. I was extremely disappointed with the selection of witchcraft books at Barnes and Noble. As someone who is interested in practicing witchcraft, I was hoping for a wide variety of books that would cater to different areas of the craft. There were hardly any books on specific branches of witchcraft, and the ones that were available lacked depth and substance. I felt like I wasted my time and money going to Barnes and Noble, and I would not recommend it to fellow witches looking for quality witchcraft literature.
