This paste is flammable and contains petroleum and organic oils. Avoid contact with eyes and do not ingest. Blocks and molds already in use may be re-corked without the old cork being removed, usually only needing one additional coat. It is helpful to completely burn off the old cork and apply all new cork every few times. The cork is fragile when hot, be careful while handling. This is an ecellet time to trim off the excess cork. Cork will have a hard time adhering onto machined surfaces the first time. It is helpful to put one coat of cork on the mold, burn it in, and then remove the old cork. Then put on two-three new coats of cork.
