This year’s Halloween Google Doodle game is a ‘Magic Cat Academy’ sequel

Earlier this week, Google rolled out several themed 3D Animals, including a hot dog — really — and dancing skeleton. With Halloween in 24 hours, Google is kicking the 2020 celebration into full gear with a sequel to the Magic Cat Academy Doodle from four years ago.

The premise behind the 2016 Doodle saw you take control of “freshman feline Momo on her mission to rescue her school of magic.” This game has you swipe — either with a finger or mouse cursor — your wand to match symbols that appear above “mischievous spirits” in order to cast them out.

Levels get progressively harder with more specters (and shape combinations) converging on you, though this cat — appropriately — has five lives and the ability to get shields. Your score is noted in the top-right corner.

For Halloween 2020, the Magic Cat Academy sequel Google Doodle takes place underwater “with new friends, old foes, and spooky surprises.” This “subaquatic shriek-quel” has new aquatic foes in each level: Immortal Jellyfish, Boops Boops, Vampire Squid, and Angelfish.

It’s live right now and will remain on Google.com for the next 48 hours. You can also access directly at anytime here. The game works best on a touchscreen but is playable on laptop trackpads.

Meanwhile, “Hey Google, tell me a riddle” in the US (English) launches a spooky-themed riddle room adventure. Other Assistant commands include:

  • “Sing the Halloween song” — This tune is available in Arabic, French, Indonesian, Japanese, Spanish, English worldwide, as well as Portuguese in Brazil. It tells the story of a werewolf, ghost, and vampire.
  • “Haunt my house” — Assistant will play Halloween sounds and music, as well as flash smart lights through a violet, green, and orange sequence.

Similarly, the Nest Hello video doorbell brought back “Spooky sounds” earlier this month. “Black Cat” and “Werewolf” join ghost, vampire, monster, and witch until November 1.

Magic Cat Academy

Magic Cat Academy is a browser-based game created by Google as a Google Doodle in celebration of Halloween in 2016. In the game, you play as a black cat named Momo, who is a student at a magical school for cats. The school is being invaded by ghosts, and it’s up to Momo to defeat them by casting spells.

To play the game, you use your mouse to draw various symbols that represent different spells, such as a circle for a fire spell or a wave for a water spell. You then use these spells to defeat waves of ghosts that come at you in increasing numbers and difficulty. The game has several levels, each with a different theme, and the goal is to defeat all the ghosts and complete all the levels.

Magic Cat Academy was well-received for its charming graphics and addictive gameplay, and it remains a popular game to this day.

It has the ability to elevate ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences, and turn the mundane into something magical. In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it is easy to lose sight of the magic surrounding us. It is easy to get caught up in the monotony and forget to appreciate the beauty that resides in the simplest of things.

Magic Cat Academy Strategy

Sure, here are a few tips for playing Magic Cat Academy:

  1. Keep an eye on your health: Your health bar is located at the top of the screen, and it decreases every time a ghost hits you. Make sure to keep an eye on it and use healing spells when necessary.
  2. Master the spells: Each symbol represents a different spell, and it’s important to learn which spell is best for each situation. For example, the lightning spell is good for taking out large groups of ghosts, while the shield spell can protect you from attacks.
  3. Be efficient with your movements: You can only draw one spell at a time, so it’s important to be efficient with your movements. Try to draw spells in a way that allows you to take out multiple ghosts at once.
  4. Pay attention to the patterns: The ghosts move in patterns, and it’s important to pay attention to these patterns in order to anticipate their movements and draw your spells accordingly.
  5. Save your super spell for emergencies: Your super spell is a powerful attack that can take out all the ghosts on the screen at once. However, it takes a while to charge up, so it’s best to save it for emergencies, such as when you’re overwhelmed by a large group of ghosts.

By following these tips, you should be able to master Magic Cat Academy and defeat all the ghosts!

Blob Opera

Do you love music, especially opera? Do you wish to one day create your own unique version of Opera? So what are you waiting for without trying to play Blob Opera right away? This game will help you create your own amazing opera with realistic sound in a very interesting and funny way. Blob Opera is an online skill and music game. This game was developed by David Li in collaboration with Google Arts & Culture. What makes this game special and unique is that it uses a machine learning model trained on the voices of four opera singers to create an interactive experiment that anyone can enjoy, regardless of musical skill.

The actual vocals

Tenor Christian Joel, bass Frederick Tong, mezzo-soprano Joanna Gamble, and soprano Olivia Doutney are four opera singers who recorded 16 hours of singing. You won't hear their voices, but the machine-learning model's understanding of the sound of an operatic voice is based on what it learns from them. Since then, the sound in Blob Opera has become more real and lively. At the same time, this also helps players easily create a great opera. You will be free to create the music you love. There will be no rules or limits for you to create.

Reviews for "The Magic of Collaboration: Exploring Artistic Partnerships"

1. Samantha - 2/5 - I was really excited to read "Be life art magif" based on all the positive reviews, but I found it to be quite disappointing. The writing style was confusing and made it difficult to follow the plot. The characters were also poorly developed and I didn't feel any connection to them. Overall, I found the book to be lackluster and not worth the hype.
2. John - 1/5 - I'm sorry, but "Be life art magif" was a total letdown for me. The story was disjointed and it felt like the author was trying too hard to be profound. The constant use of metaphors and symbolism was overwhelming and took away from the overall reading experience. I struggled to finish this book and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
3. Emily - 2/5 - "Be life art magif" was not my cup of tea. The writing was pretentious and the story felt convoluted. It seemed like the author was more focused on impressing the reader with their writing style rather than telling a compelling story. I found myself skimming through pages just to get to the end. Overall, this book was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
