A mafic heat reclaimer is a technological device that is used to recover and utilize heat from hot industrial waste streams. It is specifically designed to handle hot streams that primarily consist of liquid or solid materials with high levels of mafic (magnesium and iron-rich) minerals. The mafic heat reclaimer operates based on the principle of using a heat exchanger system. The Magic Heat 8" Heat Reclaimer increases the efficiency of your oil, wood and coal burning stove. When the exhaust gases from your wood stove heat the stove pipe to 280ºF, the Magic Heat's internal thermometer turns it on. Then, its electric powered fan forces cool air to circulate around tubes heated by the hot flue gases before forcing out the warm air into your living space.
All components are warranted for a period of 1 year after date of purchase by the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. WHAT DOES SCORE MEAN 1 THE LOWEST OR HIGHEST BUT THIS ITEM IT WAS VERY HARD TO PUT THE TOP STOVE IN I COULD ONLY PUT IT IN A 1 2 OR SO IAM NOT SURE IF IT WAS THE PIPE OR NOT.
As the hot waste stream passes through the heat exchangers, it transfers its heat to the cooler fluid.
