Magic: The Gathering Arena Video Game!

Older but more detailed info on this is on Magic blog

Quote:

We have also partnered with Cryptic Studioscreators of games like City of Heroes and Neverwinterto produce a Magic: The Gathering massively multiplayer online game. The partnership is new, so we can't tell you when you'll be able to start roaming the Multiverse, but that day is coming! You can read a bit more about it here. We're also discussing similar partnerships with other digital studios and game creators and hope to have more news on those in the near future.

Will it be anything like the MtG: AotP boardgame? Probably not, as it is most likely be Wizard's attempt to make a MMORPG to compete with Blizzard's WoW, just like Blizzard made Hearthstone to compete with the MtG card game. But we can hope it will be more "turn-based" to feel more like the boardgame.

Re: Magic: The Gathering Arena Video Game!

Do you play much of the card game? I have a feeling Arena will be in the MtG universe but with basically zero resemblance to another game in the MtG universe. Sort of like how Hearthstone has nothing to do with Warcraft or WoW besides the characters/lore.

Northwestern athletics mascot

His role as the official mascot is to inspire and motivate both the athletes and the fans, and he does so with boundless energy and enthusiasm. The Northwestern athletics mascot, Willie the Wildcat, is a cherished symbol of school spirit and a source of pride for the entire university community..

Reviews for "From Coast to Coast: Northwestern's Mascot Goes on Tour"

1. Sarah - 1 star
I was extremely disappointed with the Northwestern athletics mascot. It lacked creativity and excitement. The mascot costume was poorly designed and looked cheaply made. Additionally, the mascot's performance during the games was underwhelming and did not bring any energy to the crowd. Overall, I found the experience of watching the mascot more of a distraction than an enjoyable addition to the game.
2. John - 2 stars
The Northwestern athletics mascot was a complete letdown for me. The costume design was unimpressive and did not embody the spirit of the team. The mascot's interactions with the crowd were minimal, and it failed to engage with the fans. I expected more enthusiasm and excitement from the mascot to boost the team spirit, but it fell short in delivering any impact. It certainly did not live up to my expectations, and I hope Northwestern considers revamping their mascot in the future.
3. Emily - 1 star
I found the Northwestern athletics mascot to be unappealing and uninspiring. The costume design looked outdated and lacked creativity. The mascot's movements were stiff, and it failed to create any excitement or engage with the crowd. It felt like watching a lifeless character on the sidelines. Overall, I was disappointed with the mascot's performance and do not understand the hype surrounding it.
4. Michael - 2 stars
The Northwestern athletics mascot did not impress me. The costume design was lackluster and did not reflect the team's spirit effectively. The mascot's movements were clumsy, and it lacked coordination during the games. It did not bring any entertainment value or energize the crowd. Overall, I believe Northwestern could invest in a better and more engaging mascot to enhance the overall game experience for the fans.
